My last was that day :-) 8 years no speeding. Gas and driving has never been cheaper. I do miss being able to go 189mph on a super long straight with no roads nearby.

In 2006, I was clocked at 98 in a 55 on my R1 at the top of 3rd gear. I don't know how radars works, but he said if he registered me while riding behind me at the same speed, it registers zero.. (i would like to test that). Well, he was going 65 and he registered me going the same direction at 98 before he started after me. I had tucked as tight as possible and there was only one car near by... My fault for even doing it, not his for catching me.


Long story short, I begged not to go to jail as I was leaving a week later. I waved my 25 waiting period before court and paid the ticket 4 days later. Original ticket was $550 and 6 points, as he would have arrested me for anything faster. He reduced it to 4 points and $225 for paying right away and not running.

I have never run from the police. I own my mistakes. I generated the issue and if I am in a State does the "do not chase" crap, I won't run anyway. They make tracks and drag straps to race. You can talk to local business owners and get permission to do things like Rush posted on their property, and even alert the police ahead of time so you don't get arrested on private property. If you take the legal way, you don't get tickets. Weird.

Well I got a lawyer for my ticket. $125 lawyer fee and 220 to reduce it to defective equipment or what ever they call it. No point's on my license and no insurance increase.
 
BTW: My last speeding ticket was 14 years ago.

I paid $500 for my lawyer that is about to fight my current ticket of exhibition of speeding lol. Court date is in Feb.

The governor was 189... I tried it downhill with the wind and everything... No go. 190 wasn't possible without a computer to override the governor.

I would never try it with cross wind or cars around. There was a 2 mile straight stretches with no side roads. I would use those.

yeah, glad i don't live in the LA area i guess LOL.  I mean don't get me wrong i'm looking at getting a 2016 camaro SS but i'm taking that where it belongs when i want to race, i've got both a strip and actual track within an hour of me so no reason to chance it on the roads.  Wasn't there somewhere that just flat out crushes the cars caught street racing? need to happen everywhere IMO.

Doing 150MPH on the 110 freeway, When I see a cop so I hit the brakes, I pass him at 120~ and still braking... cop catches up while I was doing 80MPH, on the lane to my left, moving over to my lane, when before he made it completely behind me, ricer boy in a honda that tried to race me comes flying past us, the cop swings his car back to the left lane and goes after the honda.... Pulls him over and I'm not going to jail, He is! LOLOL..

They Crush them if caught street racing with illegal mods or stolen parts.

And with the new income I'm getting right now, I will get my 100 Shot Nitrous before Feb. 2015 and my Turbo (Or supercharger, Depends on what I go with) before July 2015.

i'm fairly certain i read that somewhere they crush the cars as a way of saying hey don't freaking do it, take it to a track or this is what will happen.

Here they take your car and sell it under the Public Forfeiture Act if you are caught street racing. A few years ago there was a single incident where 3 Lamborghinis, a Ferarri 599, a DB9, R8, Maserati GT, a GT-R and a couple of others were impounded and sold off after found to be racing in excess of 250 km/hr on the hwy. All the offenders were under 21.

Common sense in Canada and oooooh ouch for those car owners. Wonder if Missouri has a take away your car law? I would (blank) a brick if my Porsche got taken away from me.

Talk about taking proper steps to fix an issue.
