That you don't honor your warranties over a torn sticker even though you were told this numerous times and had me jump through all the hoops of a RMA including getting said serial number from the receipt.  Then denying like the terrible company you are.   Guess what, torn stickers aren't what made that product fail.   Terrible customer service.    Bad word of mouth has cost you more than that card by now.

    Hello Artemis00,

I do apologize for any continued confusion however the product we received from you back in February of 2014 was received with the serial number label removed from the physical product and manufacturing identification labels torn from the product.

I can confirm that we did explain that the normal use and operation of an EVGA product does not require the removal of such labels and we do require the product to be in original factory condition for warranty services.

EVGA's warranty is offered with the following terms and conditions: www.evga.com/warranty

If you wish to further discuss feel free to contact me direct and I can help clarify any additional questions you may have.

    Regards,

what is if the sticker comes off from alone?
or if you maybe have to move it to install a backplate?
i have get a gtx970 and that sticker on the backside is not holding good.
its only half of the sticker, or less is sticked to the card.

If you still have the box with the sticker on , then nothing to worry , in case your sticker gets removed you can cut off the sticker from the box and send it along with the card for the rma.

Always leave your S/N number on your card under the back plate.  If you ever have to RMA your card, you will have to remove your back plate or kiss it goodbye since EVGA will not take it off for you and ship it back to you.  Make sure that you register your card or at least write the S/N down before you install the back plate.

Sad to see EVGA won't work with a customer for simple mistake of a torn sticker. EVGA US RMA department has really gone down hill.  It's starting to look like evga.eu RMA department.  I guess if you can't raise standard in the EU it's time to lower them in the US to make sure all customers have same kind of service.

There is more to this story than the OP wrote. I remember a different thread in which the OP ranted about something and was wrong in what he was ranting about.

I have seen EVGA bend over backwards for people, myself included.  They have a very liberal policy with missing or torn S/N stickers that I can personally attest to.

As I say, there is much more to this situation than the OP is reporting.
