Awesome build! Great job on the tubing and sleeving. I will most definitely use Acrylic or PET in my next build

Nice rig and storyline. Was there any issue with getting the acrylic tubing to seal? Did the inner diameter deform when bending?

The Primochill rigid compression fittings really does a good job in giving you a tight seal.  Just as long as you have the silicone insert inside the acrylic tubing before heating and bending the inner diameter should be fine.   I wouldn't say it will be a perfect inner circle, but it shouldn't restrict water flow.

I'll never go back to soft tubing again.   Nice thing about acrylic is when I drained my system after 10 months for maintenance... and to change out my bad GPU... I just reused my already bent acrylic tubing.   I didn't have have to start over again.   BTW... if you are talking about my black/grey/white sleeving on my previous build... thanks.   I can't take the credit on the black sleeving on my current build.   Those are pre-sleeved cable extensions.

That looks great! How do you bend it, do you use a tool?

FCPU sells a bending kit that comes with a silicone tube and cotton gloves.   You will also need a heatgun.   You insert the silicone tube into the acrylic tubing so when you bend it, it doesn't kink.   There is a YouTube video by Primochill on the basics of bending acrylic tubing.   For my acrylic tubing, I bent my acrylic free-hand over the heatgun with the cotton gloves on... and bent it very slowly make sure it doesn't kink... and have the correct radius to connect to both compression fittings.    It will be a lot easier to bend with the monsoon mandrels... which you can buy from FCPU or performance pcs.   I would have bought the monsoon acrylic bending kit... but it wasn't available when I was making my loop.

Sick !!! I am  about to convert my modrigs angelic suffering any pointers? I have the monsoon and primo bending kits

Very nice... My only pointer is to maybe buy extra tubing to practice, plan your loop well, take your time, and don't give up.   After you complete your acrylic loop, it will be worth the effort... and you will see the benefits of acrylic tubing... especially when you do your maintenance.    I've seen a few give people give up because it can be frustrating.

Heh, you're so right about this. I just got some acrylic to try for my loop and free hand is a lot tougher than using the Monsoon mandrel kit...the kit makes it pretty easy to do precise angles. With free hand you have to have a good eye for the angles which I apparently lack :)
Extra tubing will be very helpful like you say; it's better to have some left over than not enough in the middle of a build.

Good job! Your loop looks sick with the black acrylic.

Thanks for the comps...  Acrylic tubing is a godsend when draining and refilling it with fresh coolant.   The only issue I "had" is with dust...

I was thinking if there was a way to limit the amount of dust going into my system. I found some foam air filter material laying around in my garage and cut to fit all the gaps where my intake radiators are pulling air through... which is the top and bottom of the case:

It seems to pull in air fine... and my temps appear to be the same when I didn't have the filters.

I've been running with the foam filters for a few weeks... and it seems to be keeping the dust out.   Really interested in how my rads look when I pull my system apart when I update my system next year.
