FINALLY an alternative to the Swift (which can't seem to stay in stock long enough to matter)
Assuming the panel supplier can keep up with demand of two companies that is.

Acer of course wants to compete strongly with ASUS.

As long as the panel is of the same quality and the rest of the features are there I don't really care who's making it.

+1 [for the most part]  Only worry would be if warranty is needed. Nice find Drazhar, thanks for posting it up.

How are those working out for you? Getting any of the pixel inversion or signal issues?
A very vocal portion have made it seem like the Swift is a bit of a lemon...

Really?  They are awesome IMO.  No issues at all, they work great.

I think it has been narrowed down to when you purchased your Swift because a lot of the early production units have problems that you stated but most everything sold after October are running perfect... Like mine :D

I didn't see the ms on that Monitor. I like Monitors that have 2 or less.

Yes I didn't see that as well, really need to know what ms the monitor is if its on par with asus then they are good to go. But do not think I am trading my 27" Samsung display anytime soon., unless Wacom brings down the price of their artist displays and makes one that is at least 27" and has a low response time since I will be doing art and gaming on it.

    RJ,
Acer of course wants to compete strongly with ASUS.

Then Acer needs to get back to its roots and build quality "again" vs building $2 crap and selling it for $4. Acer could do well, maybe they should start with better R&D, a better book keeper, and just some plain ol common sense, but I could say that for most current tech companies...

Looking St the like models available on the Acer website (one 1080p and one 4k) bother of the like models are 1ms response time. The GSync has the same model number as the 1080p, but has a U designator at the end, so hopefully it will be 1ms as well.
