OK Z97 MoBo cant not get RAID  to work in any mode (0 s 5 )can set up all ssd in any nonraid . so i dont think it is the hard drives ,,,, updated BIOS and raid drives,,,, tied different memory timing settings ,, all SSD's run windows 7 on there own just not in raid ..?????

I haven't used a RAID set up in a long time, not seeing it as necessary with SSD's (My opinion due to their speeds capabilities) but have you tried setting it up through Windows itself? Re: RAID 2014/12/13 09:09:05 (permalink)
This is very first EVGA board and I have a similar problem in that installation of Windows 7 x64 in RAID0 will result in the installation being stuck at different percentages of Expanding Windows files or at Completing installation. Drives are working fine in AHCI mode and I have tried different cables as well as bypassing the hotswap connectors and going directly to the SATA ports.

    My system is as follow:

    Intel Core i7-4790K
    EVGA Z97 Stinger Core3D
    Team Xtreem DDR3 2400 CL10 8GB x 2
    Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon R9 280X OC
    SanDisk Extreme PRO 240GB x 2 RAID0
    SanDisk Extreme PRO 480GB
    Seasonic X-650
