Mine is shipped out with an ETA of Friday the 28th (apparently not a postal holiday in the US).
Same here, if you're in the U.S.  ...we should have it delivered on Friday the 28th, lets see we talking about the USPS here.

Being in Australia, I think I followed all the steps, go a few emails, but can't see whether its going to be shipped, is shipped etc. Can you provide this detail?

And yet another day passed and still none of the 4 backplates have been shipped. Well I seriously doubt that they will even be shipped this month (let alone mid-november). I contacted support about the delay(s), ofcourse no serious answer. I also mentioned that the promotion was removed in September then I got a response back (from Christian Burns) that they never removed the promotion from the website, but in truth this is a complete lie! They did remove the promotion during September and people got mad about it, I was able to take a screenshot from Google's cache here: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2220443 So they did actually remove the promotion in September, so support is telling lies now, or doesn't have a clue at all about things (or a combination of both). Really I have lost all my trust in EVGA. Going to sell of all my EVGA cards in the near future. I don't like doing business with a company who tells you lies. Otherwise I could have gone for Pallit of Zotac for that matter. Yeah, sure the backplates are free, though they should have been included from the start, just like MSI does. I have now been waiting since mid-September on my backplates....!

The status of your request should be on the original promotion page for your country. Near the bottom of the page just after where it says "REQUEST YOUR FREE BACKPLATE" But you need to be logged in to see it.

You can check for delivery update on USPS, plus EVGATech_ChrisB has said : Backplates will be shipped out by this Wednesday as EVGA had to wait for Backplate orders. Now I just checked my tracking # USPS and finally I see my Backplates has made it out of CA, all the way across East into my State  delivery for tomorrow the 28th, Lets not forget that we dealing with USPS so lets see. Are you in the U.S.?

Nope, I live in Europe and been waiting for the backplates since the 22nd of September. ...and no still nothing has been shipped whatsoever. I am really getting tired of this and with EVGA and the lack of updates. Even support tickets aren't handled (correctly) anymore. Seems they don't want to keep me as a customer it seems. Oh well. Not my loss, because their are other (more) reliable brands out there nowadays.

Sorry to hear that,  since September 22nd!?...You did every step and been approved for shipping!?...Well that is not acceptable  , I hope EVGA goes UPS or FEDEX and ship your package over night! when they get the Backplates, 2 Months & 6 days and No Info or Tracking yet!? that is too Extreme & Ridiculous!

Well got fed up with waiting and my leg being pulled (even in support tickets) and therefor decided to send EVGA an email (including Andrew Han).
The email ended up to be very long, describing my past and current EVGA experience. In the end the email got quite big.
And guess what...? After sending an email I finally got a response and my backplates are being shipped. Suddenly it's possible?! Strange.
Oh well... Doesn't matter much anymore, because I lost my faith in EVGA (and no not only because of this, but also several bad experiences in the past).
I think I will sell of all my EVGA cards (not only the current GTX 970 cards) and go for a different brand, where long-standing customers are actually valued and listened to.
Apparently EVGA only listens when you start emailing their CEO... And this wasn't always the case...

Dammit... USPS marked my package as delivered but it wasn't received. Called to open an investigation. Hope this is just the shenanigans of the delivery guy reporting a good delivery time rather than a delivery error. Can't have been stolen since I had them deliver to my office.

I received my Backplates today the 28th as said, around 1pm. Thank You EVGATech_ChrisB for the help.
I do hope in the future EVGA improves the Promotional Section. When it comes too business keeping tabs & forwarding Update Information (email) towards us customers is key as > Communications < is the most important part in everything especially in business.
