Hello friends,

So, all of a sudden I randomly get a black screen then it gets back. It even happened to me once while I was in BIOS.

I'm connected via HDMI, anybody know what could be the problem?

Thanks.

    Do you have the latest drivers installed? Are both cards seated properly? Are you overclocking the cards at all?

    And this sounds pretty stupid but something as simple as changing out the cable could solve your problem. I personally use DVI because I don't need the audio form HDMI. Let me know if you come up with a solution.

    @DillBill,

    Thanks you very much for your concern.

    Yes, the Cards are seated properly and no i'm not overclocking them, just stock..temps at Idle are below 40C, and yes the latest drivers are installed :)

    I guess i'll use DVI as well since I don't need audio over HDMI at all, will also try a new HDMI cable to see whether there's a problem with the card or not.

    Seeing as you probably don't use Nvidia audio I would delete everything Nvidia except the 3 like in the picture I attached.

    I would leave all this on stock too because Nvidia handles it pretty well.

    Alrighty...I barely change the settings in the Control Panel except for maybe V-Sync settings.

    I would try swapping the HDMI cable, try both display port & DVI to see if you get the same issue, try a different monitor if swapping cables and ports doesn't help.

    The random black screens happen when using a HDMI connection, It's a driver issue, Switch to DVI and it will go away, I have a ASUS GTX 760 that does the same thing with HDMI connection using any driver past 334.89
