Well, according to the CPU support section, W3570 is compatible with EVGA's X58 boards.  But, it is a matter of your mainboard revision number (located lower left conrner near ATX standoff screw hole) since the Xeons for LGA1366 debuted after the Core i7's and not all early boards have support.  That said, you can RMA the board for an updated BIOS chip.

Also, W3570 is the counterpart to the i7-960 which is supported with less hassle or thinking, were you able to get the W3570 cheap or easy, and not able to get a i7-960?

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].

Didn't find Xeon on the support list…

They're on the support list.  X58 is a bit complicated, though, and people do sometimes choose the wrong Xeons.  I knew many people who ran W3520's when the X58 came out.  However, a number of the Xeons that came out later required hard mods to the board, as noted above, which could be done by owners or EVGA was willing to do them for members.  Another question that often comes up is whether dual-QPI Xeons will work on X58, and generally they will, although the second link will be disabled.  Conversely, boards like the SR-2 and the SR-X will not work with single-QPI chips, even if Xeons, and that leads to all sorts of fun.

And that's all I have for extraneous and unasked for knowledge at this time....

Lot of people're buying w3680 6 cores and they run just perfectly after HARD MOD, but i can't find actual diagram or photos for it, maybe someone has it?

I ran the bloomfield xeon cpu's on a E762 and E758 boards just fine. They wont overclock very well though so unless you already own the xeon I suggest the 960 or higher i7 for that. "as mentioned earlier"  and I used bios 83 so I would suggest flashing it if it hasn't been already if using xeon cpu. as the older bios didn't even support some of the bloomfield and gulftown out of the box.

but I would avoid xeons on these boards as you don't get any better performance from them on single cpu boards.

Why not? Xeon w3680 is 6 core vs 4 core i7, and they OC higher, over 4gh. So now you judge wort it or not.

the reason they don't over clock as well is the multiplier is locked. they oc. just not as well and I stated 970 or higher and the 980 and 990 are 6 core. the i7 920 is the lowest clocked factory cpu and it oc's almost 2 gigs over the stock clocks into the 4.5 gig range on air. Jacob has a post on it. 980 and 990 get over that. some people get those xeons oc better than others but many are using Ln2 to get it their.

Well the thing about the xeons is you can find a good x5650 for under $100 very easy and they will overclock just as well as most 970/980/990x. Granted they aren't as simple to overclock but unless you get a dud you can easy get to 4ghz+. I have not actully seen to many 980/990's that will overclock significantly better then a x5650. They are about even. Even on Hwbot, the top 980x listed under water cooling is 5.6ghz, and the x5650 has a 5.3ghz. Keep in mind that there are ALOT more people running 980x in these benchmarks then x5650 because not every x58 board can even use them. If you also bring into x5660's into the picture, they have a top speed on hwbot of 5.6ghz as well. If you go look at the screen caps, the Xeons are also doing these speeds at a lower voltage. Only real difference between the x5660 and x5650 is the factory clock speed. For everyday overclocking not benching like on hwbot, silicon lottery will impact high large an overclock you can get as oppose to if you have a 980x/x5650. But it can be proven that x5650 TEND to overclock to the same clockspeeds using lower voltages.
