So I am running 3 reference design ones from evga. 2/3 has the older bios while another one is newer with bios.
Ran them at 1100mhz clock at 1.212v on overboost. Two of them have stable temps while the last card has on average 6 or 7 degrees higher than the rest.
anyone with same config find this normal?
also for anyone trying to save a overboost, would the boost save properly, Ie set it at 1.212 and then come back and see its 1.231 idle.

Could very well be a bad thermal paste mount on the 3rd card. When I installed the waterblock on my 780 classy, the factory thermal paste application was horrible. Are you sure you need that much voltage boost to stay at only 1100Mhz? Although mine are classifieds, I can stay nice at 1250Mhz on stock voltage.

One thing to do is to make sure the card being measured is either the card in the top slot, or the card in the bottom slot.  Sometimes monitoring programs do not list them in the actual order they're installed.

Even so, it's not abnormal if one card runs a bit hotter or cooler than other cards.  You can see differences of 6-7C sometimes between cards.  I've had that happen on a few different cards.
