GTX 980 in sli. win 7 x64. Maximum VII hero. 4770k. I installed EVGA precision X16. Restarted. Disabled sli. Enabled kboost and it worked. Restarted. Enabled SLI and checked gpuZ and all of the clocks were at default, not boosted. Also if I try to open EVGA precision X to do any overclocking, after I enable sli. Kboost turns off. So I can't effectively overclock and test like this. Hope it is fixed soon. Thanks.

Jacob just stated in the 5.2.2 thread that the K Boost isn't working with SLI at all, so hopefully it will be attached to the next patch.

Thank you Jacob. I am also getting a timeout issue when I switch HDMI ports and go back to the hdmi port, that my graphics card is on. Like I'll go and watch TV on HDMI 1, but when I switch back to HDMI 2, which my pc is on. Detection timeout. I have to physically unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in to get reconnected. Seems to happen mostly when I'm in 4k and in fullscreen. I also contacted samsung support about the issue but they are completely worthless. Scarlet-Tech
Jacob just stated in the 5.2.2 thread that the K Boost isn't working with SLI at all, so hopefully it will be attached to the next patch.

Yep Precision X is doing the same thing with 780's and 780 ti's too.........if I offset frequency, and appy it, it works to start, then at some point goes back to default clocks and settings. Something is bugged with it. Also, PrecisionX won't link up with Precision OC/bench/burn/stability checker utility.

I found the solution to the input loss of signal, after changing HDMI inputs.
Amazing how much Samsung kept trying to tell me it was the GPU.
I had to literally tell three people that they were not qualified to help me.
I told you I am hard to deal with, I wasn't kidding lol..
Anyway one of the guys in like level 3 support? Iunno.
I had to leave a call back number for this escalated guy to get in touch with me.
He was completely clueless and admitted it.
He just blindly threw it out in the air to try resetting factory defaults and it worked.
He was just as surprised as I was.. lol
From the sound of it, it is a good idea to reset factory defaults on any samsung tv, before you start playing with it.
and definitely after a firmware update.
It will not revert to an older firmware.
It will just be like resetting cmos for certain new hardware.
It's a good idea and absolutely necessary, to access some of the TV's settings and fix some problems.

Is anyone having issues with overvolting? Everytime i overvolt my card it down clocks itself way below stock speeds, were talking 600mhz. I currently have a evga 780 OC, but i should be receiving my 2 970's in the mail by friday. I just hope i dont have this same problem.

same for me I am not a happy bunny
I just bought 3 evga 980gtx that I use with 3 screens and kboost that I use with watercooling wont work it only works in none sli what a waste of money as it is my gtx680 cards are currently better as the 3 of them worked perfect
I hate how they down clock for no reason
when is this getting fixed or should I find a better manufacturer

Just a suggestion, Install Precision X version 4.2.1 and try enabling SLI and K-Boost.
^ x2 - precision x16 has been causing a myriad of issues for people with various cards and setups. I had to roll back to 4.2.1 because it drove my idle temps up ~20*C, and that was with 560Ti SLI.
i7-960 LGA1366 / MSI X58A-GD45 / 6GB RAM / SLI evga 560 Ti Crysis 2 Maximum Graphics Edition / 750W PSU / Viewsonic 27" VX2739WM @ 1920x1080 / 3TB across 2 spinning WDCblack drives / some 140mm fans, a couple 200mm / all stuffed in a CM HAF 912 chassis. And chicken.

780ti classifieds in sli and kboost dont work. Its fluctuating voltages and clock rates make an otherwise stable overclock unstable. In unigene heaven, on undemanding scenes the clock rate will drop and when it increases it will crash the driver at 1280mhz and higher. 1254mhz seems to be unaffected tho. It definitely not temps(max 82 top and 74 bottom)or psu which is a 1250w seasonic xx series. At any voltage also. I am using ln2 bios and voltages from 1.212 to 1.250 and sometimes 1.300(short periods only) measured in gpu z. I quess custom skynet bios bd (boost disabled version) is the answer. I will only use these overclocks in gaming only.

I too can confirm that Kboost is working with my gtx 980s in SLI. Was not running with 5.2.5 but with the newest 5.2.6 it seems to be working fine. Kudos EVGA and JACOB.
Now My question for JACOB is my acx 980s Kboost up to 1420mhz, can I still oc my card on top of the Kboost speed? If so, does it stay on Kboost speed or the oc speed? Any help would be appreciated.
