That looks about right for your hardware. Could you post a link to the result?

Actually I couldn't post a link coz it's a pirated copy though...I do have my own copy of 3DMark Vantage though but that's too old now.

Okay, if that's the case then what were the individual scores? (Eg. Graphics score, Physics score & Combined score)

Yeah, that looks dead on for stock.  But oc that cpu, it still has plenty of power to give! That would bump your total score up a bit.

Good to know that..thanks tucker :) It's my first day with the new rig, i'll experiment OCing that beast..will try to bump it to 4.4 or 4.5Ghz at least, OCing with the Rampage should be dead easy.

Btw, a question out of topic...how do I find out the ASIC quality of my GPU's? GPU-Z? I've looked there but didn't find anything about it.

The test is done without V-sync, is that how normally it is run or should I use v-sync?

Never use vsync when benchmarking it will destroy your scores.

Yeah... It is hateful toward benchmarks, lol :-)

I have started using the console in battlefield 4 to lock my frame rates where I want them, and I don't get input lag or anything.

Overclocking is definitely something I enjoy. I just need to get past this week of not being able to touch my computer.

Hehehehe...I'm trying to push my Overclock to 4.5, this Rampage V Extreme is a beast.

I'm not that experienced with Overclocking but i'm glad I got my PC to a stable 4.4Ghz overclock with just changing the multiplier and cpu core voltage. Now I need to test the OC with the RAM's XMP profile and see how it goes.

I am loving the RVE so far. I have not been able to push it yet, but I adjusted it to 42 on the multiplier, no change on the voltage (auto to 1.25 max) and it was stable right away, which makes me happy.. And, with all three GPUs working as well as the cpu assisting, it stayed under 40c with everything in the same water loop.. Very happy indeed.

Glad you're happy with your setup m8. I'm using a 44 multiplier with CPU vcore on 1.28, my temps are under 40C as well.

I just need to solve the bloody flickering of my gpu's could be the EVGA bridge is defective, i'll change it later with the stock mobo bridge and see how it goes.
Also one of my GPU's doesn't seem to downclock...I need to make sure of that.

What is your monitor refresh rate, and how many monitors total?

It's at 60hz, and it's just a single 1920x1080 monitor until I get my 4K monitor..yeah I know my 2 GPU's are such overkill now..hehehe,i'm still waiting for a good 4K monitor with G-sync, though I might go for the Asus PB287Q monitor.

What is overkill? I have never heard of this or experienced it...

That is strange that it isn't down clocking. Make sure there isn't a program in the background that could be using the processing power of the card.

I mean that my GPU's are too much power for a single 1920x1080 monitor

I'm noticed some rower spikes with that GPU sometimes it jumps to 27-28 and goes down to 7.0...I even removed Precision 16x as I heard it causes lots of problems.

When I get back home i'll do further testing and get back to you.

List of things that could keep your GPU clocked up at idle with nothing running...

#1 You're running multiple monitors. Fix: Enable mutil display power saver using nvidia inspector.
#2 Your machine has a virus. Fix: Scan computer using malwarebytes.
#3 One or more programs running in the background are using your GPU. Fix: Perform a clean boot of windows.
#4 Power management mode inside the nvidia control panel is set to prefer maximum performance. Fix: Set power management mode to adaptive then reboot your computer.
    #5 Running a resolution of 2560x1440 @ 144Hz. Fix: Change refresh rate to 120Hz.

Nope, I don't believe that SLI is overkill.. Not at all. You will never convince me.. They say the sky is the limit and I want my fps in outer space, so it isn't overkill, lol.

    @Sajin,
    Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll perform suggestion #3 when I get back from work and test. I run a single monitor and have Adaptive already set in Nvidia Control Panel. I'm also clean from viruses.

No problem. Fixing the flickering in SLI could be as simple as moving the bridge to the other two SLI fingers available on the cards.

I actually removed the bridge and reseated it but still getting flickers, haven't tried the other two fingers though as you suggested..will give this a try and see.
