Ok so after hours searching the net, I need this sli bridge to fix my 4k problems.
I've tried ebay and asking sellers if there bridge s/n starts with 14. All the responses I got was they had no way to check there warehouse.
Are the ones that are on evga store the new ones? Does anyone know where to buy one? 
Or does anyone know any other bridge that works?

and what is your exact configuration? pcix slots  being used etc.

NVidia website is out of them but evga has in stock rite now part# 100-3W-0031-LR which is the correct bridge for 600,700,800 and titans. as long as you don't mind the evga logo. im not sure why need a specific 2.0 with a 14***** part number for your NVidia card as I am aware of some of the ati cards that have that issue your describing. this one is a v 0.0 which is the correct standard bridge for your 780 and should work. exactly which pcix slots are you using for the sli? if your skipping a slot then the NVidia site carries them and will have to contact them when new ones will arrive. just go to accessories and youl find them their on this website.

Thanks for the links. evga got back to me and told me that there online store has rev 2.0. but they wont send to Australia. The cards take 2 slots each with one slot in-between. The reason I need that exact bridge is that the old ones don't have enough bandwidth for 4k 60hz, well that's what I read any way. Might buy one of ebay and just pray its rev 2. if not ill rma.
 
Doesn't matter to much sli 780 is not really up to the task of 4k. I'll stay @ 2k for a bit.
 Hope sli 980ti or whatever is next. Is up for 4k. Then I'll upgrade to some evga gpus.
