Got the email that they are reviewing my invoice.
I'm close now.
I stepped up one day after the 980 went live, updating to the 980 reference. I'm happy I waited it out.

I'm still waiting for the invoice review. 1-2 business days has now stretched to over 3. Other people seem to have immediately gone to the payment step.
How long should I wait before I contact EVGA and who would I need to contact?

I made this thread in the general hardware forum but I figured I'd ask here also:
Need recommendations for a DisplayPort to DVI Adapter or Cable.
I'm upgrading to the GTX 980. Do I need Active Dual Link?
I looked at some on Monoprice, Newegg, and BestBuy but I'm just confused.
Basically, I have a 27" Samsung monitor that will use the HDMI slot,
I have a 22" Samsung monitor that uses DVI (which I need an adapter for),
and I have a 50" Samsung TV that I use the DVI for.
I just need recommendations on which adapter is ideal or best. I've used Monoprice in the past for cables, and I know to avoid Monster.

pretty much done in 5 hours for me. got a bit worried about sending it in right away with the holiday so, i called and asked if there was a problem if i went past the 14 days before they got it. i was told i could get another 14 day period if i needed it by calling. nice, now i can enjoy the chaotic family gathering w/o any worries!

I submitted my step-up request ~10/1/14 for a 980. I'm still not showing up in the queue. I've used the step up in the past and have never seen it lag this long.
So is the queue running and just not displaying a number?

Well, I just shipped out my card, it's out of my hands now.
With each step I'm moving closer and closer to my 980, but now it feels real.
I'll feel truly relieved when they receive my old card and confirm shipment of the new one.

I took my card to the post office late yesterday afternoon. According to the tracking, it's now somewhere in Germany so hopefully EVGA will get it and ship the new one early next week.

I received my two gtx 980 acx 2.0 3 days ago. They received my old cards last friday, registred received monday, shipped out tuesday and delivered thursday by UPS. So pretty fast.

Initiated step-up for a GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 on 10/3, and the first step of the queue was completed on 12/1. Waiting for the invoice approval so I can pay the difference and send EVGA my 770 SC. Edit: sent out my video card on 12/3, and it was received by 12/4. Fingers crossed I get a 970 by tonight (12/5)!

I submitted my step-up request to upgrade my GTX 770 to a GTX 970 FTW on October 5, and just got approved and submitted my payment today, December 2. So all in all, my queue took just shy of two months. Looking forward to my new 970!
