Hello just today i noticed a buzzing sound in one of my GPU's my first thought was the fan so i adjusted the fan speeds with no change, so then it reminded me off the old cpu's that you could actually hear working under load. So i loaded up another game to test my theory and sure enough the card under load you can hear it working as the usage fluctuates so does the buzzing sound on the card? Not sure if its the gpu or mabye the memory on the card i would assume this is not normal but not sure ?? Thanks

Try cleaning out the card with some air... if that doesn't help then take the card out, and spin the fan.. It should spin freely if it slows down quick then it's the fan.

It's not the fan . the sound is coming from the actual card its either the GPU or memory that is making this sound , as i stated above only under load and directly with usage can you hear the component. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this ?

Third to suggest coil whine, you should be ok even with the noise, but it might be time to start saving up or prepare for a failure in the near future.

    Current Build:
CPU: Intel i7-8770k @ stock speeds
    Motherboard: ASUS PRIME z370-A
    Memory: 16 GB Corsair Vengence
    GPU: GTX 970 FTW
    Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 750G2

ive had coil whine from day one on my cards . seems to be when I am doing something that is a super load . either way , my cards are now over a year old and still whine and still produce the best graphics ive seen to date ...

yeah sounds like coil whine. In some cases a different high quality power supply lessens it, I have a very slight coil whine on my GTX 970 whereas my previous GTX 660ti power edition had none.
