Yeah, my message too has changed from "will ship in Mid-November" to "check back soon for tracking info." This has progressed faster than expected - WTG EVGA!

lol, that's not assuring anything...Most of us already have Tracking # for Days and some for Weeks ...The problem with USPS, there's No Tracking Information Updates at all

That's it............What's the point  having a Tracking # if you can't Track the Package!? even after a WEEK

Woohoo! The status has been updated to "Your backplate has been shipped.". There is no USPS track info for Brazil though and I haven't received any status update by e-mail yet.
 

My EU status has changed to this,
Your request was approved.
The free backplate will ship to you approximately mid-November.
I bought the GPU without knowing about the free backplate promotion, therefore one must be content.

Count me among the waiting, too. Received the ship notification on 11/15. Nothing delivered, yet. and the tracking link now leads to an "EVGA Under Construction -- Down For Maintenance" page. USPS has no record of the tracking number, either. I've been waiting to install my new 970 FTW until the back plate arrives. My games are getting impatient.

Finally got my new EVGA GTX 970 FTW installed today along with the new backplate provided from this promotion. Installation was easy and painless.

I just ordered an EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 and i just read about this backplate. I know im a bit late to get one for free but is it possible to buy one somewhere or was it only produced for the free give away?
 
At least ill have the 5year warranty and free Assassins Creed Unity :)

Ordered my backplate and it was being delivered by USPS. They say it was delivered this past thurs but i never got it. This is whyi hate when orders are fulfilled by USPS. Now i am out a backplate. Definitely a bit disappointed.

Even though the tracking site says it was dropped at my front door, in actuality it wasn't. After a brief neighborhood hunt I located my package.

Man, EVGA needs to torque test the screws before they package them.  Someone must have screwed on that corner screw with the nut with a freaking impact gun, I could not get it off for the life of me with a pair of steel forceps, needle nose pliers and my t-bone screwdriver,which allows me to get more torque than a normal screwdriver.  I damn near stripped the inner thread and finally just decided to leave the thing in, kind of annoying though.  Hopefully it doesn't matter...

My backplate request was approved on the 5th November and was due to ship approx. mid December.
Heard nothing more and now the EU promotion page with my order status details just says promotion has closed.

What's going on?

Damn you both quoted my mistake before I could correct it. I meant November not December lol
