Hi all,

So I have 16GB (2x8GB kit) of Mushkin Redline DDR4 memory but my system properties say 15.9GB usable?

Anybody know how can I get it to show 16GB? I heard there's a memory remapping feature or something which causes that.
Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm...I've got replies on other forums saying it's something reserved for system resources or whatever..

Anyways..I just wanted to know what's taking the 100 something mb's.

    Thanks for the reply @Randolla

Every computer I have ever built shows this, so I don't think it is an issue. Randolla is correct, there is nothing wrong.

Coz my old pc shows me complete 12GB, and i've seen some X99 pc's that shows full 32GB, so I was wondering if something is taking up the memory in Windows. In my new X99 it shows 16GB in the Bios correctly though.

As long as there is nothing wrong then fine :)
