By having dual display port 1.2 to achieve 4k res at 60hz it means it is using MST(MULTI-STREAM TRANSPORT) instead of the usual SST(SINGLE-STREAM TRANSPORT).
What that means is that instead of your computer just detecting a single monitor, it is detecting TWO monitors. MST monitors are essentially like 2 LCD panels combined together to achieve 4k resolution.
Most 4k monitors use MST instead of SST.
The thing about MST is that it has drawbacks, some games doesn't recognize your monitor which means the image would only be displayed on the other half of the screen. Also since it is essentially like 2 LCD panels some programs if you maximize would only occupy half of the screen. MST also has inherent high input lag and response time even on IGZO panels.
AFAIK, there is very few 4k or higher monitor that utilize SST. One of them is the Apple's 5k Imac retina as it is using its own timing controller to achieve 5k SST over a single cable. Also I heard samsung 4k TN monitors are using 4k SST.
