To bad that the US Dollar is worthless to the Euro. Well today it is .80 cents to on Euro Man I remember when one US Dollar was worth 4 Marks (Deutsche Mark or DM) and when the Euro came out it was one to one. I guess we should thank our own government for devaluating the Dollar back in the day. Maybe with Coil Whine Reduction (CWR) Models being made users here will stop complaining so much.

I don't go into the 700/900 section due to the fact I'll never buy them at nVidia's high prices, but is the coil wine that bad with these cards?

I really really wonder how effective the cards are at the coil whine problem. Wish they would sell them to the US markets, I'd love to see Anandtech and Tech Report test those claims. I also hope they sell like hotcakes so more manufacturers will spend a few dollars more to ensure the cards are less likely to exhibit coil whine... one would THINK that EVGA would do so just to save on the thousands of dollars it spends a year in RMA shipping/processing of cards. Kram, pretty much. The 900 forum is lit up with coil whine posts, and the 700 series forum is full of them. Half the NVIDIA cards I ever personally used had coil whine issues at STOCK settings, including a Titan Black Hydro.
Have water, will cool.

If I had the cash I'd love to buy one and test it myself. If it worked well and was indeed quiet I'd ship it to Jacob over at EVGA.
