Man you should all read the comments on the video down below. All these people are getting so emotional on and offensive over which car is better.  One dude did make a point. He said this is Ford's first year with the new Mustang so expect it to be not so good. He explained as if it was the 2010 version(which was the face lift of the 2007) and when 2013 hit that model Mustang had most of its cons eliminated that the 2010 had. Basically expect more power as it progresses through its life cycle just like any other sports car.

Nice vid, pretty much what I expected. The Mustang isn't bad in performance, even being it's first year. I just can't get pass the awkward look of the car, just doesn't do it for me personally. You see that center section of the Mustang's rear bumper bulging in and out? Ford needs to address that big time. I just may pony up for the Camaro SS with the 1LE package, it's so perfect in every way to me.
 

Ya both are really really close to each other in performance. Of course the mustang will beat the camaro on the drag strip because it has better gearing. But the camaro won on the circuit because it has wider tires so therefore more grip and better suspension. But what still disappoints me about the camaro is that its a 6.2L engine and its only cranking 426hp. But yet you have a mustang with a way smaller engine still cranking more horsepower than it at 435hp with a 5.0L . Just imagine how much horsepower the mustang would have if it were a 6.2L engine.

Yeah rumors have been the base LS will have a turbo'd 4 banger, the LT is rumored to get teh LGX which is 350hp, and then SS with the LT1 at 460.  speculation is still out there for the ZL1 but based on the current ones i'd bet that the ZL1's have the LT4 at 580 or maybe detuned down some.

if this is true I really like it. shorter and lower should mean lighter. not sure about the side markers in the wheel arches, looks clean in the pics but need to see it before making judgment

Someone captured this picture pretty recently with more camo back on the car, they weren't sure if its because the cars were so close to peole they didn't want them to get a good look, or with the added camo on the roof of the car they are thinking maybe T-top or targa top might be coming???? I would freaking love it if they did either.
 

exactly! I think i'd rather have a T-top myself just because it would always have some rigidity but my dad was telling me GM had major issues with them in the past with leaking so if they go that route hopefully they won't have that problem this go around.

Pretty irrelevant argument as one is OHV and the other being DOHC.  That is like saying that the 5.0L needs 32-valves and four camshafts to make that amount of power.

Both are 5.0 engines? The one on the left is the newer Coyote 5.0?

The one on the right is the 5.0L OHV/Pushrod style engine, the one on the left is a DOHC Ford Modular 4.6L.
 
Now most small blocks are relatively the same in size between the big three, the jackets, sleeves, and patterns are what are different.
 
But...  A fully assembled Ford Modular V8 has larger dimensions than the assembled big block Hemi's that they run in NHRA (minus the blower of course).
 
Just saying that it's an apples to oranges argument, displacement is just measuring empty space lol

Hard to believe that motor fits in the Mustang's engine bay.

It barely fits lol  Why do you think you never see Ford swaps into Camaros?

All i can say to what hazman said is YOLO.  Why sit on a lump of money, live a little, have some fun ;)  There is no such thing as a solid investment no matter how you look at it.  Houses can just as easily be damaged as a car

i believe for people who have families and stuff they can't really have that state of mind. but for single people like me it's perfect lol

yup i'm single no kids so ii'm like pffft saving it, spend it!  I don't date/relationships/booty call none of that, i have no interest for anything except myself so its easy to just do what i want.

You pick up a 2016 Camaro, you're going to get female attention lol.
