I always wait for vid driver updates with these games. I listen to everyone complain first then in a month or two I look at the driver updates for any improvements for the game and decide if I should DL the game yet :D and maybe a nice injector came out by then.

Unless you wanna play a game that has massive stutter issues so bad that you'll have to turn your settings down no matter how good your system is just to play a smooth game.

Then dont buy it

If they dont fix the stutter, im never buying another pc game from ubisoft.

Its a shame cuz its a really fun game otherwise.

There is fix for the stuttering in Far Cry 4 posted at Guru3D: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4961931&postcount=43
 
"Well, after some experimenting i found one way to get rid of this stuttering. First change graphics quality in game to "custom", then go to C:\Users\Master\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 4 and edit GamerProfile.xml file, change DisableLoadingMip0="0" to DisableLoadingMip0="1" . Stutter almost completely gone. I noticed that game now uses around 1700MB VRAM, and before that was around 2600MB. Not sure what is that setting for. Quick test shows no visual difference in game. Further testing required. Please report back your findings."

There are some new NVIDIA drivers out that advertise support for the new Ubilol games.
Can anybody comment if they have assisted?

The 334.75 WHQL drivers seem to have helped better than the 334.65 drivers. It cut down on the occassional flicker or split second black screen gap when moving around. I also applied the config file fix listed above. I'm glad that I got the newer 4 GB video board because I'm certain that my 680 SLI would have had issues running with only 2 GB. I am really liking this 980 video board alot.

My GTX580 in SLI has the stuttering issue even though they are the 3GB Versions. 
 
Performance wise, they still destroy this game. I can play with everything on Ultra, except 8xMSAA and the God Rays, but honestly I think the game looks better without that. SMAA looks great but creates this ghosting effect...
 
Anyone else find that at night, the game is way too dark? I wish I could just stop the Time of Day cycle and play missions during day only.

I thought I downloaded it already, but then my game says its v1.3
 
I read somewhere that the patch went live really quick, then was pulled. Anyone know why?

Steam store page says something about it. Said it is unrelated to a patch that was available earlier. Updated the 21st, said patch would be available early next week. Nothing on Uplay about patches that I can find.

Well, I got the game through the Nvidia promotion and I have no slider, so pirates aren't the only people being trolled by Alex. Because of this I don't have the game on Steam, I have it on Usuck, apparently I need to patch the game to get the slider, but how?

Far Cry 3 was still great fun, but a tad repetetive...

If you're paying the same price as having a physical copy of a game including printing, boxing, media etc as you are having a digital licence, you'd want to expect it to work. Ubilol is failing miserably right now.

I had that problem until I disconnected my joystick. The only PITA is that I forget to plug it back in before playing BF3. I have a field of view slider but it's hidden in there somewhere. IDK where right now.

I just want the new patch to fix the shadows. When nighttime approaches, I just go to a waypoint and sleep through it. Because playing the game at night isnt possible. The shadows are pitch black.

After the game launches...you are in the screen where it says...new game, uplay, etc.  Lower left corner...should be under your screen name.

The Ghosting issue is caused by the SMAA. Go and change it to MSAA or off. I use FXAA from Nvidia Control Panel.

SSBC Ambient Occlusion Causes Black Shadows, even during the daytime

Thanks man, but it's just not there. I googled and see where it's supposed to go, and despite what Alex Hutchinson says, I didn't pirate the game.
I DL the game using Uplay and am using to play, and now I'm accused of being a cracker pirate by the dev. How messed up is that! Glad I didn't pre-order...

Just note I don't do multiplayer unless of course it's of the quake or unreal series, and even when I'm online, I'm appearing offline.
