Before i get into detail, i saw the list of compatible ram and it seems the ram doesn't go any lower then 1600.  The ram i have is g skill 1067.  I know its old ram, but am i guessing that it must be the fact its so low that the issues with the ram are cause by its low speed?

Another question ,the compatibility list (  ) for this board , would that be for a pair to equal the total listed? or do they mean each stick when they list the Gigs? so when they say

    CorsairCMD16GX3M2A1600C98GB1600MHz9-9-9-241.50V
    1+2

is that for a pair to equal 8gb? or is that 2 single sticks of 8gb to total 16gb?

I guess your ram should be replaced with new one, the Corsair Sticks,
run with the Heswell mem controler with apsolutelly no issues at mem specs,
If planning overclocking, most propably you will, that is why you own a stinger, you surelly do not want
your memory to hold you back.Running Dual improves considerably performance. You should get a kit, i
i would recomend two sticks installed on no2 and no4 memmory banks.
