Judging from the dot on the map in the upper left corner... someone around me is paranoid. ;)

This is probably the one project I have not ran yet because of lack of sensor availability and last I knew they required you to assemble it yourself. I will say just in case anyone has one already that you can also use: GMC-300 geiger counter from http://www.gqelectronicsllc.com/ However, you would want to refer to Radioactive@home's forums for setup instructions. For those considering buying one, I would not bother with the GMC-300 unless you have other uses as well...

It seems like all the hard stuff is done, the electronic components are pre-made, you just need to put it in the case with the tube (From what I've seen on the youtube channel). They do have diagrams so you can make your own from scratch (if your a wizard like that)..

I see a lot of issues with the GMC-300 and now GMC-300E Plus. If they made a device that you could so to say Plug & Play I would do this project.

As a wizard I don't see how anyone would be able to scratch build this without the paid version of altium, the free version doesn't let you open docs. Wish they handed out the more universal Gerber files. The free version also seems to have an uninstall bug when not installed on the c drive

Interesting. If they introduced this a few years ago it probably would've exploded in popularity quickly. How accurate are the sensors though, are they relatively influence free and no variability in batches or calibration? Ya should take a laptop and the sensor to the grocery store and place it in the middle of the banana shelf just for kicks.
Have water, will cool.

My bad, my engrish way a little off. I wouldn't mind doing something like this but to me the price for the kit is a little steep for what it is. I also have micro controllers and other assorted electronic parts around so I might be able to just put one together for a lot cheaper.
