Ive spent a total of about 5 hours into the game already.
The first thing I noticed what the camera and the combat controls with the keyboard and mouse. I don't remember it being this complicated in DA:Origins or DA:2. After a little getting used to the game really makes a name for itself. This was everything I expected it to be in the third installment. They got rid of the bad in from DA 2(exploding enemies? really?) and incorporated a lot of good elements from both games to refine a great title. Bravo EA, I am more than satisfied!

I am really enjoying it. Definitely better than DA2. I haven't had any performance problems either, except the cutscenes seem to have a little bit choppiness. Inquisition looks amazing, so far.

Same here.  Waiting for more personal user reviews.  The trailers look good, but I'm still skeptical.  But based on the first two posters above, I'm getting more encouraged...

It's the most ambitious game out there, the scale and amount of content it has is crazy, while at the same time it provides unique mechanics (war table and the like) and the storytelling/character development you'd want from a Dragon Age game.  It doesn't resemble DA2 much thankfully.  Compared to the first one, DAI doesn't have quite as much combat diversity, for some reason attributes are leveled up automatically, and there is no more skill system (just like DA2).  The worst thing about DAI is the lack of a walk button, so I guess that alone tells how great the game is lol.

Optimization is lackluster however and multi-GPU users (especially SLI) may encounter visual glitches.

Yep, game is fun, and I'm liking the amount of content/scale, plus the difficulties above normal seem to give a fair challenge so far.  I like the more open world and exploration focus in the environments.  The crafting/gear system is kind of odd/cumbersome to me, maybe I just need to get used to it though.

Biggest negative for me (besides no walk button lol) so far is the optimization.  With some cfg tweaks I got it running between 45-60+ fps on a mix of mostly ultra with some high settings...but for whatever reason anything below 55-60 turns into a stutterfest when turning the camera using the mouse+right click option but using the keyboard to turn the camera is fine, which I find rather odd.  There's no crashes or stability issues so far though (at least for me), which is a plus at least.

It's good I don't get slow downs at all, the areas to explore are vast but it's no skyrim. Armors have been dumbed down no more set bonus's, and armor only consist of a helm and armor not helm, chest, feet/legs, gloves, normal maps are over used to the point it looks bad on metal type objects and many thing in game appear wet from it. A few minor bugs mostly with dialog an alt tab or windows key will take care of that. Not sure if I am not getting issues because of my setup but have everything maxed out and red at 1920x1080. Great game but not amazing almost is though. Probably one of the better games this year.

Thanks for all the feedback.  Maybe I'll just wait for it to go on sale.  Even if only 10 bucks off...

I haven't played it myself, but I watched Dansgaming on twitch get 100% of the game done. It was a massive game and he spent over 90+ hours on it, he did have one complaint though and that was a lot of the side quests were "go fetch that and this"

The game has lots to do and, as expected of a BioWare title, the story is good.

My only complaint is the limited inventory: no storage chest, and only 60 item slots, which can be expanded up to 90 with two expensive upgrades. Though fortunately, only weapons, armor, upgrades, and "valuables" count toward the limit, and stacked valuables only count as one item (though weapons, armor, and upgrades cannot stack). To be fair, this is probably sufficient for most players, but I'm a bit of a hoarder and hate selling unique items.

Have you left the Hinterlands? A lot of people are getting hung up on trying to complete that first area, but the rest of the game is fantastic and you can always return later.

I have 60 hours in and I am lvl 17.  I have tried to do all the side quests and companion quests as much as possible.  I do not even know if I have been touching the actual main storyline! I spend a lot of time listening to people talking as well as reading the books you find throughout the game.
