I am not really sure I wan't to make any more of these blocks.  They are an incredible amount of work.  I have been at these blocks for weeks, and I haven't even finished the 6 of them.

Dont burn yourself out nateman. Im sure we would rather deal without a block for a songle board than lose nateman.

I am not going anywhere, these blocks might go the way of the dinosaur though.

A custom vanity plate:

That HUGE lower bit with the gold coating is 1/16th of an inch, the other one is the one that i used.  Yea... its pretty tiny.

This was an extra custom job.

Thanks!

Still making some adjustments:

backplates are cut...

Honestly they are not needed.  I guess it depends on the case  and each installation.

Here is the board prior to installation:

Sadly i ran out of thermal paste, so I just got 3 small spots of it before I installed the block.

And here is the thermal paste spread:

its a good spread, and all the CPU blocks were lapped (yea that took a while)

Also that contact was made without the back plate.  I honestly dont think its necessary at all.  I still have more adjustments to make to the copper blocks, and they will be good to go.  All the blocks have been leak tested and they are good to go.  So they should be ready to go out the door next week.

They went out in the mail today.  I will have a few more for whoever is interested.
Drerex, you will likely be the first to get it since the others are going overseas.

This makes me want to buy a stinger!  Sadly I already have an impact with an EK monoblock.

You can always buy the Stinger anyway as a spare.  (Or you can sell your impact ;)

Installed my block today and I gotta say that this is perfect.  Pictures do not do justice here.  Thanks Nateman!

I ended up changing the thermal pads out after these pictures were taken.

Nateman, the z97 stinger block is amazing, My wife likes how clean it looks. I was able to run it against the EK supremacy Evo for a couple tests and it ran about 5C lower than the Evo. This just makes me more impatient for my x99 block and furthers my greed for you to produce a CPU block for it at this point i would solo pay for the block, though I'm sure there would be at least 10 other waiting in line also lol.. I was extremly happy how light the block is too. Thank you for producing this block for us at EVGA forums. You are truely one of the key members of these forums.

Pictures will be up once I have a better setup, right now its a monsoon bay reservoir, and radiator sitting outside the case haphazard.
