I just bought my card today but I can't seem to be able to register it for a backplate. The reason I bought it was because it came with a free backplate, otherwise I would have gotten the Asus strix which has been out of stock for weeks now. I am very disappointed, I might contact newegg and send it back and just wait for the Asus strix to be in stock.
Edit: I can't seem to click on anything when I'm on the registering page. Is the promotion over?
Make sure your card has been registered first. You wont see the option to register for your backplate if your card hasn't been registered with EVGA first. Ran into the same issue. Good luck.

I'm currently pending for a step-up from my SSC to the FTW 970...will the backplate fit on the FTW as well? The SSC and FTW have the same measurements?

Hey guys, I have the 970 SC ACX 1.0 and got the backplate for it. However, I plan to step-up to the FTW version and was wondering if I could use the same backplate or would I have to get another one? The reason i'm asking is because I don't think I will meet the deadline for the promotion if I step-up to the FTW. I would seriously love to have a backplate since I have a mITX build so a lot of wires are cramped in my case and it could potentially rub against my GPU's PCB.

Hi,
I just registered for a backplate. The screen said it received my invoice file. Where do I update my address? Cause I can't click on my registered 'parts' on the promo screen anymore
edit: Okay nvm where it says 'Click Request and then Confirm Shipping Address' it is actually a button that you click on and then confirm the address there. I have a feeling a lot of people will forget to update their shipping address. Might want to mention that in the top post that you need to go back to the main promo screen and confirm your address at:

I am assuming the Blower style 04G-P4-1972-KR GTX 970 do not need Backplates which is why they do not have a promotion for that type of card?
Any chance that EVGA will make a backplate for that Card?

I have one question on this. I requested backplates for both of my cards and the requests were approved. (thanks :) )
Now I RMA'd one of cards and received a replacement. Will I still receive the two backplates or do I have to request a new one for the new card?

The most important question here is...Will it be available for purchase under Accessories / Backplate after this marketing scheme?  I plan on buying (2x) 970's later on.
