Does the 111-HW-E872-KR support i5-4590s?

Has anyone tried?
If yes, did it work with or without BIOS update?

With BIOS version 1.08 or higher it will support 4th gen Haswell processors. Any new board you buy at the store should have that BIOS already, just look for the "4th Gen Intel Ready" sticker on the box.

I5-4590s is Haswell, not Ivy Bridge.

Whoops, that's what I meant to say. I did say 4th gen though! Thanks for the catch, guess I need more coffee this morning. =)

Is the compatibility of the board to the new Haswell CPUs only shown on the box by the "4th Gen Intel Ready" sticker?
Because I couldn't find it on my box.

Mine did not have that sticker on the box. Regardless, it shipped with bios 1.08 and did work with my i5-4590s.

It did not ship with the latest BIOS (v1.01), however it was able to boot with the Devil's Canyon CPU (i5-4690K) - but only randomly (every second start up).
After the BIOS update to the latest version everythings works fine.
