  Hey Guys.
I have a question , When I am over clocking and I get a 101 blue screen I know what to do but when I get a 124 blue screen Im lost in bios , I know what to do in X58 but lost in this .
if some one could post where the controller voltage is and also where to raise it is I would appreciate it
I just don't want to keep bumping my voltage up to get around what I feel is the right way to OC the chip
Thanks for any help offered

Have you checked the OC Guide at the top of the X99 Mobo forum? If you have and you are still lost, could be more specific on what you are trying to accomplish? Your question is rather broad...

Yes,  when I get a code 124 blue screen , what I want to know is where to up my voltage for my memory controller.
I'm  so use to x58 it would be vtt voltage

I am no expert, but according to the guide I found this...

    VCCIO
The VCCIO is the voltage control for the Integrated memory Controller (IMC). In most
instances this will not need to be adjusted, however if you are using large volumes of
RAM and overclocking, or are going for brink overclocks of the memory this option can
    assist with stabilizing the system.
Voltage Range for VCCIO is 0.800V to 1.800V
    Default is Auto

I am guessing it's different than the X58 architecture as this is now Integrated on the Chip and not on the mobo?

Are you running 4 or 8 Dimms of memory? What frequency are you running at? Others have had problems with high end memory 2800+ and achieving large overclocks. In other forums there is mention of this RING voltage ratio? Like I said, I am no expert, trying to learn myself, and help others along the way. I do believe there are bugs yet with some of this, and EVGA is working hard to fix them. Still a really new platform.

I am running 4 dims of mem, and using xmp 1 profile @2666
so if I get a 124 blue, I  assume I can bump up the VCCIO  I think lol
When I get back to OC I will have to try this, Im running @4.5 gig
Me thinks we need a guilde like the x58 forum use to have (O)

I agree, I am trying to get my system running 100% without OCing anything. However, I think my issues are stemming from my 580GTX Classifieds. I see you don't have this problem with the 980's :). I think time passes and the experts figure out a good OCing configs for this board, CPU and RAM. This guild/guide you speak of, will most likely form.

I just set my CPU and GPU to stock settings, im going to oc again. just gaming at stock settings atm, was having issue of blue 119 screen when exit wow or a random screen while playing
even after setting my gpu to stock, so I think My OC while it passed stress test needed tweaking
    MY thought are
offset was set to 0  vdroop on and I believe that might have been issue so in other words add  offset voltage or shut off vdroop
when getting a 124 bsod  go to my Vccio and bump voltage
I also may go right to 4.0 gig and set memory manually and mem V also and then bump BCLK up for OC as well as ram.
What ever I do I will post here
I must admit my scores with 3D 11 , Firestrike Vally  where all high:) 3D11 I was 43rd or 45th on the list and had way more to go for OC and that was at 4.5G cpu :D
    valley was 6k
