That's weird they have the listing for it already. Makes me think the January time frame I heard might've been accurate after all.

No way Newegg would create a listing that early, guarantee you it's less than that.

Edit: On second thought, I wonder if it was just some employee eagerly anticipating dumping Win 8 making the listing... all the stuff / photos are of the preview build.

I have had the Evaluation Copy installed on a separate Hard Drive for a few days Checking it out, And Yesterday while I was at the Windows Desktop it prompted me on the desktop screen for an Update which I said Yes to and it seemed to proceed for about half an hour to Install itself over again with an Evaluation Copy of Build 9860?

It didn't happen to me the way you describe, but I think that's because when build 9860 became available, I upgraded it manually.  That was about a week or so back.

That's strange.  I'm running the 9860 build using IE11 and Steam without issue.  Not sure what could be going on there...

I've gotten that same update (KB2267602) everyday since 10/22/2014.  But looking at my update history, it's a different definition every time.  One thing that's odd is, the specific definition you show above (1329.0), I don't see that in my list anywhere.

When you install Windows 10 you MUST reinstall the NVIDIA drivers again! I think MS is loading their own version of the drivers which is not SLI capable.

When you install Windows 10 you MUST reinstall the NVIDIA drivers again! I think MS is loading their own version of the drivers which is not SLI capable.

I did, still the same issue. Had to kill Application Frame Host and got it to work!

I just downloaded the the Technical Preview and it wont let the nvidia control panel set SLI. Keeps saying store is open and its not. Guess i will be going back to 8.1 til this is fixed.

Click start and the Windows Feedback and make sure you give Microsoft this feedback.

Windows 10 Technical Preview now at version 9879 2014/11/13 09:36:10 (permalink)
Came home turned on my PC read some emails and went to eat. Came back to my PC and it had updated itself automatically. I see that the Microsoft 10 Tech preview version is now 9879 and One Drive sync is now active.

Oh and by the way the update replaced the NVIDIA drivers with the Microsoft NVIDIA video drivers so you have to reinstall the NVIDIA drivers.

Thanks for the heads up RJ.  I'll have to switch over to my other drive with W10 and check out the update...
