So I decided to fire up BF3 today. Whenever I tried to join a server, I got this message:
"Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster permanent ban issued on this Game Server for player 'iNoToRi0uS' ... GLOBAL PunkBuster GUID BAN 217b7b97
I looked on the PB site, and it said it wasn't from them, but from evenbalance, and I can't find anything there.
So I am banned from all BF3 servers with punkbuster, without any proof or reason.
Now my question is, since when I signed up for the gaming event, I put in all my info for steam, BF4, and BF3. Does this mean I cannot qualify for the event due to a false ban?

If you was manually banned from evga server during the event, that would disqualify you. EVGA doesn't check each winners soldier name or steamid to see if it's on any ban list.

Are you having issues connecting to any BF3 server or EVGA's BF3 server(s) or both?

No, I only cannot connect to PB servers on BF3.
I can play fine on EVGA servers. I was on BF4 EVGA conquest last night fine.

Good morning iNoToRiOuS, I can confirm that you were not banned by an EVGA admin. In this case you are not disqualified from the OctoberFeast event. Let me know if you have any other questions.

If PB detects any hacking programs in the game, it will ban the user.

Well sometimes punk-buster can be a little bit oversensitive. I remember one time I decided to turn on an OSD for a game, and PB banned me. Wasn't battlefield but PB is PB.
