Definitely not a good time to relax... this race is close... at any moment all it takes is for one team to pull back and the other to crank it up.  Stay Crunching my Friends.

On a side note, what time period is the average work based on in the boinic manager? Mine hasn't become stable yet. Its currently at around 3500 and just wondering if this is around where a x5650 @4ghz should be at.

Once I wondered about this too.
I placed the question at the POGS forum, but the answer didn't make much sense. They referred to a mathematical formula that blurred it even more.
POGS RAC move slowly, that's for sure.
With your recent production, I'd say you should level out at around 7000.

This is very true.
According to some postings, their top Ace "BaBa" might have a surprise for us.

Is it worth dusting off the socket F boards for the final push?

You could at least test it to see if it still runs
Any added Cores would help BadBertie

Yeah, yeah. "You can sleep in November! " etc. Tbo, it could be anything. Got to check over the whole board. It's been in a box over a year now and suffered two house moves in the process. Still, should keep me out of trouble ....

Hey Viper, posted an answer to your question in the challenge commentaries
Basicly you have two options:

first plug the HDD into your other 4p and boot into the OS

then either abort the tasks
or finsh them there
The second option of course depends on how big your buffer is on each machine....

Did that... hopefully it corrected.  Going to have to redo the OS I guess, might as well do the full new Ubuntu and see if I can get remote desktop working on that.  I'm too old to bend over on the floor and do installs.  Yeesh.  Thanks B-man!

If you haven't checked into theskynet.org lately, do so if you have a chance.  It'll warm the cockles of your heart.  I think everyone is enjoying this contest and truly have shined as ambassadors for Crunching@EVGA.  Thanks folks, for the team spirit, the willingness to go above and beyond and most importantly for the camaraderie shown towards our fellow crunchers.

Well done gentlemen... well done.

I'm top participant #66  with 30k RAC right behind CR62.. I swear, back and forth, I'll get you CR62! All these high rollers coming over knocked me outta my top 50 spot

Such a nice team RAC that's for sure! I think 1.8 million RAC at one point!

And I'm proud how [link=mailto:crunching@EVGA]crunching@EVGA[/link] are mentioned here and there. Meaning we make a difference.
I'll tell you a "Secret" bcav.
You are mentioned at the GPUGRID forums. I read it as you are an example of People who have a fantastic Production capacity, yet not mining.
My cap off for you Bro.

Ay devlin.
You and CR62 are pure EVGA stuff. Fantastic results from both, keep pushing boyz.

devlin85, I can't match most of these guys core for core either. I make up the difference in being persistent and keep running projects when they wonder off to their next goal/badge. Then I sneak up and pass them by. Well, I pass a lot of them, all except that bunch that has enough cores to keep running everything and anything around.

If I can stay in the top 25 I consider myself doing well. I do better in some projects than I do in others. But in the end my ranking doesn't mater to any one but me. Getting the work done and hopefully having hand in some discoveries, be it finding a cure/treatment for a disease to finding ET, is the main goal.

We are just shy of 2 million points difference between us and [H] over on Formula Boinc. I wonder if we can't get there before people start switching systems over to SIMAP for next months POTM?

I do not really understand what the OP is really saying though.

I am running some BitCoin Utopia Tasks now and WOW! my power wattage went from 780-800 to 980-1100 and bam my UPS Unit Died. I have to plug in to the AC Socket without using an UPS Unit. I will complete what I have but will not run anymore Tasks on my 3 Titans. May One Task.
Man my GPU's are HOT 60C and on Water. Had to crank up my Fans and can only get them down to 55C.

No More BitCoin Utopia Projects for me.

No no no. We can't have a COTY because Afterburner would melt down over you putting one person up on a pedestal and leaving every one else out.
