old school GTX. 285 01G-P3-1180-AR. It was probably never registered but it looks like the card itself is at the end of its rope, started crashing the workstation every few days and the displays will often just cut out.

    To reflow the solder. 
     
    Make sure you watch it very carefully if you decide to bake it, I didn't watch my XFX HD 7950 closely and a bunch of capacitors and chokes fell off (it will probably still work if I manage to put it back together though). 
     
    And, remove the s/n sticker before baking as well.

    I baked my old card that was having issues and it's fine now.

    Yea, it actually does work. Baked a few laptop motherboards, video cards, xbox here and there for a bunch of people.

    If did work again but only for a few days. I haven't tried it again. Not sure if it's worth it at this point.
