Does anyone know what this code means? It will post to bios then upon restart to load windows it hangs on 95.

current bios 1.09
Intel 5960x
32gb corsair ram
4 x evga titan blacks
also i have Intel DC P3700 800gb SSD in slot 3 on a ribbon, which is not showing in bios. (not sure if it should. thought maybe it would in windows.)

No idea what post code 95 is, as the manual only says "PCI Bus Request Resources", but i had to point out that thing in the picture is dang beautiful.

I will look around and see what it is.  Have you tried removing the 800Gb SSD, in case it is causing the hang?

*edit* it is just saying that it could be a problem with the hard drive.  Could you try doing a format of the hard drive itself, and then re-install it?

You might not have to pull the card out of slot 3. You could disable the slot itself with the dipswitch on the mobo. With that being said, make sure the dipswitch positions are all on. I would think that card should show up in the BIOS. Also make sure if you haven't already set the GEN PCI-E manually in the BIOS. E.g. Gen 1.0,2.0,3.0, as it pertains to what it should run at. This is were it should show up in the BIOS.  Were did you get that Fancy SLI adapter? Something EVGA sells as an accessory? Very nice build by the way. Good Luck!

So what did you end up changing? Setting the PCI-E slot manually to a particular PCI-E Gen? Or was one of the dip switches turned off? Or as you say, was power just off for a long period of time and now its working?

Evga sells illuminated SLI bridges for some time now under their "Accessories-hardware" ---> "SLI Bridge" Tab.

So its running but I think the SSD in the pcie slot 3 is the problem like u suggested. It seems more stable in 2.0 mode. I notice when it hangs the ssd light on back of ssd doesn't come on so it may be a PCI-e address allocation problem.

Hopefully future BIOS will fix this problem, if it is directly related to that, and not the card itself. Could be an issue with the X99 platform. Not sure if you have read, but there are major issues with soundcards working properly in the PCI-E slots. They are narrowing this down to the X99 chipset, possibley a flaw on the CPU itself. Hopefully in either case, it can be corrected with firmware, or a lot of us our out some serious cash on our Motherboards, and CPU's.
