I have IE11 and I can't view slideshow pics. I have checked the boxes in the advanced tab to show pics, but it still doesn't work. Here is an example of one of the many that don't work for me: http://news.yahoo.com/photos/hong-kong-police-use-tear-gas-to-break-up-protest-1411905493-slideshow/
Any suggestions or a fix would help.

    Disable all ad blocking if you're using any.

    Did you restart your browser after the change? Sometimes it's required. The link you provided works fine for me with my keyboard arrows ,as well as the arrows in picture.

    I'll try disabling all the ad blockers. And yes I restarted it after the changes.         =)

    Issue resolved?




    No. I uninstalled, then reinstalled IE11. Still the same thing happens. I cannot view Internet slide show pics. I have the following programs installed, and let me know if any of these may be causing the problem:
     
     
    1) Adobe AIR
    2) Adobe Flash Player
    3) Adobe Shock Wave Player
    4) Java 7 (Update 67)
    5) LightScribe
    6) Nero 12
     
     
     
    *BTW, if I hover the mouse curser over the web page, the mouse curser will constantly do a shaking type movement. (Hand sign/Pointer sign, back and forth, real fast)

    Maybe a windows update is causing the problem. How long have you had this issue? When was the last time it worked correctly? Try a system restore to that date if you have a system restore point available to choose from that you know for certain didn't have the issue present on that certain day.

    I don't remember. It's been awhile. Anyway, when I get time, I may uninstall those programs I listed one at a time to see if any of those are creating the problem. If it's a Windows Update issue, then I would see more people with the same problem. If all else fails, I will reinstall Windows 7. It's about time I did this again anyways. It's past due. Probably been like 2+ years since I last reinstalled it. Thanks for your help anyway.

    No problem. Just for testing try using the oldest restore point you have in system restore just to see if it fixes the issue. If it doesn't you can always undo the restore.

    Well I uninstalled IE11, then instead of trying 11 again, which failed last time, failed this time, so I tried IE9. Working fine now. I can see the slide shows. I'll probably just go up to IE10 this time. IE11 has too many problems.

    Good choice. IE11 has too many bugs, and problems. I'll stick with IE10 also.
