I'm having an issue with getting x16 slot speed for my GPU in slot 1, i get x8 speed. I have seen this being a problem with running 2 GPU's but my issue is different. I use an ASUS PCIE network adapter. When it is just the GPU I do get the x16 speed but when I populate ANY compatable slot with my wireless adapter my GPU will drop to x8 speed. I have yet to try putting my GPU in slot 2 but reading other threads I would take a hit because slot 1 reads to the cpu. Am I doing something wrong or is this "just how it is"? Help me please : )
