That's awesome tanner2  THANK YOU !!
They are now barely 215K ahead of us.
When our new cores begin to deliver...... They will probably go like... Oops?

Has anyone been able to queue up any spare WU with this project?  I like to have a few spares in case the Internet goes down, but no matter how I set my preferences, it won't  let me have even 1 extra.

Just with normal local settings, I have a minimum of 3 extra wu's per core in the queue across all rigs. Some have many more.

I had the same situation as you, but was happy with it, since POGS has been a backup project.
I tried to change the min work buffer in BOINC computing preferences, no luck.
Changed the computing preferences in my POGS account from 1 to 2 days, no luck.

Changed resource share from 0 to 100, .......... Got 117 new tasks

Did this change on two rig's, big luck on both.
Knock yourself out Punchy

Oops, when I changed the resource share from 0 to 10000 yesterday, I forgot to save it.
After saving it properly and updating, I was able to get a reasonable queue.
Thanks for the tip!

My laptop just started producing points. I have more than doubled my output today. It's a drop in the bucket compared to some of you guys but every little bit helps.

I was sitting here wondering how to do more.
Then Punchys old 24 core cpus started up on pogs...
I think Punchy remoted in and started them.

I think the silent "call to arms" has been received.
Now, should we sound the real one in the folding forum? I'm sensing loads of idle cores over there just helping the gpu's fold.

I love a good call to arms!  You guys are really turning up the heat.
After a few more units finish I'll have my 4p and 3930k running only pogs until the end of the month.

I sendt out an invitation to some "Flying Solo" at POGS.
We got "Dave" and "Expedition Hope" as New members so far.

Hope they will stick around.

Me too!  I would feel a little uncomfortable if a victory for either side were to be won with any sort of temporary "reinforcements".   We septics (okay, we are not all septics, we are a worldwide team) should be careful to avoid anything with an appearance of unfairness - the Brits have been clear in discouraging their members from recruiting from other UK teams or even renting servers.  Since we are a relatively new, relatively small crunching team, I don't think recruiting unaffiliated crunchers is unfair - but if one of them were another Orange, Grandpa or BaBa, I might reconsider that.

One exception - we should recruit their member Texas_Connection as he clearly doesn't belong on a UK team.

Yeah I was sensing a little disapproving of our call to arms, but since we were born from the folding team just 3 years ago and the majority of us continue to fold I don't care. We are what we are!

Viper, why not run the H appliance for a few days. It is setup for BOINC.
You would be crunching in a hour.

That's what I'm doing but didn't realize it is BOINC'd already.

Looks like the 48C is online and downloading projects.  My average 70 WU's between two machines has jumped to 107 and climbing.  Hopefully we'll see some numbers rack up.
