this is nice. Now I can always go back to kepler if I see a better deal. Kepler cards don't really have coil whine in my experience.

I just installed these drivers...DSR option not available when in SLI mode. Had to disable SLI just to play with it. Is there a way to make them work with SLI. Rummor says it could be G Sync causing this. Will test more after work.

Graphic Processor can't produce coil whine and that's random problem with all manufacturer and in all cards more or less.
No matter on chip Fermi, Kepler, Maxwell.

I will try tomorrow this new driver. It's interesting that DSR in big percent fix something what people think that's hardware problem and demand solution from NVIDIA and AMD more than 2-3 years and that was only resolution problem.

Same here. DSR is fine in SLI, not running G-Sync. That seems to be a common element.

What I've experienced with DSR is that I can not activate it through the NVCPL (Gsync monitor).  I can however activate it per game if I do it through GFE which I don't use but tried it just for this purpose.

Just for giggles, I ran 4K on Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, and Unreal 2004. All ran and looked excellent.  Only Unreal 2004 required modifying the UT2004.ini file to add the 4K fullscreen viewport resolution. The older titles showed the resolutions with no modifications.

I tried a few games with DSR enabled and used the 4k resolution option.  With the 780 Ti SLI setup I have, they did quite well.  Only one game (WoW) looked a little fuzzy and reverted back to the old settings.  I tried it on Tomb Raider, Grid 2, BF4, and Unigine Valley.  I barely noticed a difference when it comes to AA.  I will just stick with local AA and use DSR as a last resort if the jagged lines annoy me.

No, it means your monitor's image quality, at its native resolution, is enhanced by the virtualization and subsequent downsamping of a 4K image. SSAA is an analogous but not identical image processing technique.

    From Nvidia the supported configurations:

                                                                                      Single GPU                      SLI
Standard Monitor (25x16 resolution or lower)                       Yes                            Yes
G-SYNC Monitor (any resolution)                                         Yes                      In Development**
Surround Monitor Configuration                                          Yes                      In Development**
    4K Monitor                                                                        Yes                      In Development**
    3DTV Play                                                                         Yes*                           Yes*
    3D Vision                                                                          Yes*                           Yes*
    3DTV Play                                                                         Yes*                           Yes*
Discrete-GPU Notebooks                                             In Development**       In Development**
Optimus Notebooks                                                    In Development**       In Development**
MS Hybrid Notebooks                                                 In Development**       In Development**

*3DTV DSR resolution needs to be selected from Change Resolution Page. The only known limitation is that it is not supported on a passive stereo monitor and Microsoft DX11.1 native stereo apps.
But currently there are no known DX native stereo game titles, so all the titles that are supported by 3DV with any rating should work with DSR on any 3D vision monitor or on any 3DTV.

**Feature is currently in development and will be released in an upcoming Game Ready driver release.

Desktop GPUs supporting DSR: All Maxwell, Kepler, and Fermi-based desktop GPUs using 344.48.

Notebook GPUs supporting DSR: In development – will be released in an upcoming Game Ready driver release.

I just installed these drivers...DSR option not available when in SLI mode. Had to disable SLI just to play with it. Is there a way to make them work with SLI. Rummor says it could be G Sync causing this. Will test more after work.

It may have something to do with G Sync,i do not have a G Sync monitor, but my Titans run DSR  just fine in SLI.

Same here. DSR is fine in SLI, not running G-Sync. That seems to be a common element.

DSR runs fine in Gsync with my 780ti classified, but I don't have SLI.

Were you able to activate DSR through the NVCPL, or did you do it though GFE?  So far, I've only been able to use DSR if I activate it using GFE.

Is DSR limited to certain games or should it work in any game? It works in BF4 but not in NBA 2K15, anyone?
Update is once I asked this question I looked at the settings in the control panel and changed my display mode from multiple to single and it now allows the higher resolution in NBA2k15.

I am folding on 780Ti's, and this driver pushed me beyond the normal 650k ppd to over 750k ppd....

Time to update them, wonder how well it will do for GPUGRID on my 780, the plain Jane Ones.

I was honestly shocked. I thought last night it was going to show 750k for a few minutes, and this morning, it was only higher by another 15k.. I have never seen over 675, and this is the first time I have adopted new drivers so quick.

Yes, I only have activated it through the nvidia control panel. I don't like changing settings in GFE.

I installed 344.48 drivers on my box in sig below.

I only install the graphics drivers & Physix..........nothing else.

DSR was available in NVCP & worked perfectly w/ the games that I play....................

As I understand it as long as the particular game's graphics engine can support the DSR upscaled resolution then DSR will work.

So if you're wanting to run a very old game & use DSR w/ it it may not work due to the game graphics engine can't support the DSR upscaled res, especially if you're using a more modern monitor or a monitor that is using an out-of-the-ordinary aspect ratio.

You might try to correct this by choosing a lower resolution or a custom resolution for your monitor then apply DSR then check if the upscaled resolution is now supported by the particular game's graphics engine............................just a thought........

    Hope this helps.
