Grrr.... The GTX 980 ACX 2.0 is available on Frys right now but do I buy it? I'm tempted to get the Classified but maybe it won't be able to get one : /
I feel as if the Classified can push 1600 mhz as the normal ACX 2.0 can push 1500 on some cards. But what if the Classified is like 650 dollars? qq
Too many decisions to be made. Help

And will the extra 100 MHz really help me for games and editing/making videos?

No, that 100Mhz really won't make a difference. A few frames in games maybe.

If you want the best and you want to overclock then it's the card to get.

Really would help to list other specs of your rig including monitor set-up as this would have a large effect on whether the additional speed of the Classified would be of any use at all.

While I am Still Waiting for the Classifieds to come out, I decided to go ahead and buy four GTX 980 ACX 2.0 Cards so at least now I can run my X99 System in 4-Way SLI and get back to my Overclocking/Benching once again.

Whenever the Classifieds are released AND I find a retailer that has them in stock and will let me buy four of them at the same time, THEN I'll decide whether or not to make that purchase.

My reference , stock 980 card boosts to 1465 while benching, no coil whine, stays cool. I have these settings 24/7 without issue. Got the card on amazon for $549.

No need to wait and spend the extra cash on the classified, acx 2.0 is already gonna be overkill for 1080p.

If he's running 120/144hz then it's a good sweet spot.
