Why wait when you can overspend now and get it here:

ONLY $1,499.99 - FREE SHIPPING !!!

Is that cheesy enough for ya? What kicks me is someone's going to fall for this and actually pay this amount for this card…

Yeah, somebody might even though you can see truth in advertising, with TBD on the clock speeds lol. I really wonder who, if anybody would actually buy that? And free shipping...what a deal!

I found a cheaper one in the UK! With ETA 14-11-2014 ... Hmm im unable to post a link.. Well its on overlockers.co.uk

It was not long ago that we had SINGLE SLOT water cooled cards produced by sVGA.  To have all the possible graphical interfaces on a card is like getting Haswell Mobo and insisting to have floppy I/O port on it.

Later this month. Here is another pic, 6 different options for inlet/outlet :)

Can you confirm if this will support the EK-FC Terminal Bridge configurations for SLI?

Very excited to get two of these if it does :D

yes ^^  - I would also like to know what the MSRP is, I'm kind of blindly waiting on these not even knowing if the price is going to be worth it. A lot of people are unhappy with the recent EVGA price hikes.. I might just try to find a reference board from another vendor and order my own blocks very soon if there's no definitive ETA on these or at least some pricing info.

Block + card please. Maybe msrp for Europe (the netherlands) too?
If you could tell us anything about availability (in the Netherlands or anywhere in the world) too that would be highly appreciated!

Re: GTX 980 HydroCopper 2014/10/20 15:24:47 (permalink)
I have a love/hate relationship with new card releases. I really want a 980 classified HydroCopper (maybe 2). But I never know when EVGA is going to release them, IF they are even going too. So I guess what I would like to know is what is the card, in the card+block combo? Is there any plans for a configurator? As in being able to pick your card with an option to add the hydrocopper block pre-installed? I just don't know enough about this block and honestly I feel like by the time it gets released and there is enough information for me to make an informed decision, they are sold out everywhere.

I can't seem to get an answer to this question anywhere... I'm guessing the answer is no at this point.

Card + block, and maybe a hint to when we can expect the card to hit the market. (This year next year, in a 100 years :)

I really hope it will be available this month. Are there already people who bought the GTX980 and the Original EK-FC980?
Then please share your stable overclock results....

I don't want to sound negative, but you really shouldn't get your hopes up. If they just received the blocks my bet would be that we are looking at another month of waiting.

But i am hoping for some news as well. :)

Seriously, how hard is it to post a price. I mean really.. ? You could have just posted all the information on it the first time instead of coming back with a worthless answer. NCIX has PNY cards in stock right now so I guess I'm pulling the trigger on them today.

Alright, I'm done waiting. No information whatsoever, no clue what's happening, last ETA we got was hinting at a release for previous month. So, there, I won't play the waiting game anymore, sorry EVGA. I've ordered a couple of (non-EVGA, mind you) normal GTX980 and I will attempt mounting the Koolance waterblocks myself tomorrow.

And that'll be soon riiiiight? (Err I know this is a HydroCopper thread but same goes for the Classified right?)
Sorry if it seems like I'm bothering you about this stuff. I'm just so anxious to have my first real computer. I've used integrated graphics my whole life and I just can't wait :P

Also I don't know if you'll be allowed to tell us this but do you think that maybe you could tell us all when the cards will be released (Once everything is finalized of course) so we're ready on release day?

To be honest i don't mind waiting a bit if the result is a truly good card. But if you cant give us any release date or price, how about some specs or temperatures? Really any kind of info would be great, since waiting with no end in sight is rather demotivating. :)

Thanks!

Well, if you're going to have that mindset about it, then do what I did and just buy the EVGA Superclocked 2.0 and the EK waterblock and do it yourself. I'm sure that the Superclocked 2.0 one will be very similar in it's OC'd value as this new one EVGA is doing with EK. Why spend $799.99 or $899.99 when you can spend $569.95 and $134.95 = $704.90 and save about a $100.00 and it'll be the same thing. Personally I got a feeling this new EVGA waterblocked GPU is going to be closer to the $899.99 price, and if that's the case anyone not doing it yourself is (to me) just spending extra money for a EVGA black cover? Not worth it to me...

Please vote for THE HACKINBEAST if you like it, thanks...

I have done so on my previous card and it works like a charm, however the one thing that has always bugged me is that once you open up that card your warranty will go void. :/ Sure if the card will be so overpriced that i nearly can buy 2 air cooled for the same price i might reconsider, but its nice to know that you are covered if something goes wrong.

Anyways that's just my opinion, if you see another way i am listening :)
