Those hoping to boost jump, murder and run away from massive waves next month will need to make sure their system can run Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Thankfully Activision has published the minimum requirements on Steam, though 'recommended' requirements are nowhere to be found. In terms of specs, it's only a small leap higher than what we needed for last year's Call of Duty: Ghosts. Memory and video card requirements stay the same, while the game will require a whooping 55GB space on your drive..
 
The minimum requirements:
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Processor: Intel CoreTM i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.80 GHz or better
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 @ 1GB / ATI Radeon HD 5870 @ 1GB or better
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 55 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX-compatible

    How Advanced is this Warfare to require 55gb?

    This is a disturbing trend.

    lol @ 55GB.  Looking at my currently installed games, heavily modded ArmA 3 is 35GB, heavily modded Skyrim is 27.5GB, heavily modded Fallout: New Vegas is 22.8GB, modded S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha is 19.5GB, heavily modded S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl is 10.5GB.  There is absolutely no good reason as to why a CoD game should take up anywhere near the amount of space that these games require, much less surpass them by huge margins.

    One of many, alongside all the recent 30 FPS capped games and ridiculously high VRAM requirements.  Thankfully, most of the games guilty of these things aren't worth playing in the first place.

    Must be a ton of audio/ video clips -- 'cuz we know almost none of that is for the gameplay or art assets , NOR is any of that for the rinky-dinky sized MP maps  ( they're saving all those for the extra $$ map packs $$$ ) 
     
    I'm almost surprised  they didn't list a 6-gig videocard as a requirement too......
