ok.

what is your rig and its specs, and what are your settings?

also, are you ensuring that you're using -pthreads 4 as your operation, and not just -threads 4

OK, with that GPU, I wouldn't go higher than 8xAF / MSAA / all settings on high - motion blur off.  Your rig is about 85% as powerful as my laptop.

You no longer need -dx11mt.  It's been "un-necessary" in the now-native x64 mode for about a month and a half.

Also, lower your "ultras" down to "high", you'll gain EASILY 20 to 30 fps.

That too can be a great help.  For some reason, cores get parked.  Unpark them and force them to be of use!

most programs will use 1 or 2 cores at 100%, and that will qualify as 100% CPU usage.  pCARS can use a LOT more cores than 1, 2, or 4.  So if you unpark the other cores, you can utilize more of the CPU's abilities to maximize your performance.

Your cores aren't parked, they are being used. Only not the way you think they should be for some reason. Benching programs are not designed to run efficiently. They are not concerned about running code at a resource cost. They are interested in the opposite, they are designed to stress the system for testing hardware whether it be the GPU or CPU and it doesn't matter if there isn't much benefit otherwise. Some programs find it more beneficial to use CPU resources over GPU. Others GPU over CPU. This doesn't make either program unoptimised.

Can I ask why you have a high end CPU and a not so high end GPU? Have you asked the SMS code designers why they are not off loading more workload to the CPU and you feel that there code is unoptimised because not all your CPU cores are being taxed at 100%? I can't really speak for them, but I imagine that maybe it has something to do with designing the program to run efficiently based on the vast amount of gaming PC configurations out there. On top of all that, the program is not done yet.

How are you able to play the game and recieve new builds? You have to have an account at the forums to even gain access to the game.

How can you not know? There is no demo. You have to be using someones account code in Steam or hacking someones Steam account. Otherewise, how did you add the switches for Steam to run -DX11MT?

So it's entirely possible he's just using a friends copy of the game on steam.

ther is no steam on my pc instaled.

His copy is obviously pirated.  He seems to be computer literate so it's almost impossible he installed a cracked version without knowing.  He claims to be "100% real" though.

Anyway I read that dx11MT is default now and default pthreads is 2.

"Our brand new Project CARS trailer just made its debut at the 2014 Golden Joystick Awards in London! You weren’t around to catch the live-premiere? No reason to worry, you can catch up on it inside!
This trailer exemplifies our approach that everything we put into Project CARS not only has to look absolutely stunning but must add additional gameplay.

Not only does it showcase the incredible visual fidelity that allows this iconic track to be recreated with absolute perfection, but it also highlights the added challenge that racing at night and in severe weather conditions brings – especially in a tight pack of extremely fast GT spec cars.
So sit back and enjoy the thrill and drama of this descent into The Green Hell and Happy Halloween!"
