thats actually a pretty neat looking and great priced monitor.  I've got 3 of the korean knock offs that are all failing and i'm thinking if replacing my PCB's doesn't fix them i'm going to look for something new and something like that just about fits the bill.  Nice and wide for gaming and coding

Pretty nice - and I agree so much with his comments --

"" "Many people spend more time in front of computer monitors than they do in front of TVs, and yet the industry hasn't delivered the same level of innovation when it comes to monitors," said Tim Alessi, LG's U.S. head of new product development. "At LG, innovation in display technologies isn't just limited to our cutting-edge TV products, which is why we are expanding our U.S. monitor lineup with our 21:9 Curved UltraWide model." "

Not sure that sort of marketing tact is logical. They are touting that LG has in the past hasn't delivered innovation. If they were truly innovative they would of implemented DisplayPort into everything in 2009. It's not like there is a license fee for DP, unlike HDMI.
