I too would like to know when these cards will be back in stock, I ordered one from amazon when it was out of stock and I'm dying from the wait.

I contacted an Amazon rep and he said they are expecting a shipment in 3-4 days, but some guy called and they told him a few weeks, dunno which one to believe just fingers crossed.

Just came back from Frys, here in Illinois. They had EVGA GTX 980SC's in stock and on the shelf at the store. They also had a couple of different versions of the 970's. They also said they had more in the back. They don't show up on their web site, and I received my two EVGA GTX 980SC's from Newegg on Thursday. i just went to Frys to get some DisplayPort to HDMI cables to install the cards.

Those emails are all computer generated. No one is sending them out. The system is set up to automatically send an email to all the people on the 'Auto Notify' list as soon as any show up in inventory. They may get ten cards in, they are processed into the system, and the message goes out to a few dozen or maybe a few hundred, and anyone lucky enough to be right on-line as soon as they get the email can log in and order one. Frustrating, but not intentionally so.

Also curious when the restocking days are, i had this issue when i sold my 680 to buy a 780...i was without a pc for couple weeks camping site lol. I thought it was a monday or weds, normally jacob posts when some are bout to appear online so hopefully someone knows what day more be in stock. Although this time i got money to snag one before selling my 780 online lol.

I didn't get the mail but I checked the site and it showed in stock so I put one in the cart and while checking out I got a message that the card was not in stock. Went back to look and the site showed them out of stock again but a few 970's had become available.

I was thankfully able to get a 970 FTW today on the second batch. I only got one because I went 15 seconds after I got the email. After I got done checking out (only took a minute) they were all gone lol.

I got the email for the 980SC and i was able to add it to cart, but while going through the steps to purchase, the card went out of stock. Grrr.

Newegg and amazon has them both as "Not Available" Or "don't when or If will be available" like they make it out like ref card's are already dead. Well hate to say this but I want a ref one, I don't like twin fan design so if EVGA is pushing their ACX cooler's and killing off the ref ones, then they wont be getting my money this time around.
Yup I got the 2982-KR (x 2) from this EVGA website 2 days ago.. the stock gets eaten up very quickly though. Register for auto-notify and check your email frequently and if you time it right you'll get them. They get additional stock in all the time. Newegg.com also has auto-notify. Someone posted that Amazon will let you put an order in for them so you go in a queue for the cards when stock becomes available.
