Hey guys, I really like the GTX 980 SC version. I have two GTX 780 SC that I purchased a few days ago from Amazon.

I was wondering do the normal SC versions ever come available on step up or is it always the ACX versions?

Thanks!!

Right now it's the ACX reference edition... usually the superclocked (and higher-ranked) GPUs aren't available for step up.

that could be fair game as well, depending on the options that EVGA makes available.

I got 83 days remaining to step up and hopefully I can take advantage of it and get something beast. I really love the reference designs, do you know when they'll announce the other models for step up?

I'm still waiting for the ref cooler 980 step up. Does anyone know if it will ever be available or the likelihood of it being available? Really guttered that it's not.

There is no 100% answer as things can change, but generally speaking, the card you see available for Step-Up now will continue to be the card available in the future.  It is doubtful additional cards will be added in the future.
