It's saying we can check our position in que and when it reaches zero we will receive another e-mail. Problem is there's no progress que that I can see in the my products page all it says is pending or my step-up id number which doesn't change. Not sure if I'm missing something or there isn't actually a way to see what position your in?

It's been like this since it started last week, I'm still pending. I saw some EU guys getting in line first, which was funny considering USA step-up came before the EU's lol.

I will either find a way, or make one.

Well I don't like the long wait but it happens I don't mind being patient. I would just like to see what position in the que I am as is states rather then just hoping everyday is my day haha.

You're not in queue if you don't have a queue number. They state in the explanation of the step-up that changing from pending to getting a queue number can take anywhere from days to weeks.

I have been in "Queue Pending" since the day 900series came out and gave all information required. Pretty frustrating to see I haven't gotten a queue number while other that did it days after have gotten one. I just wonder if they are doing it due to the cooler drama going about lately? Doesn't bother me, but if it goes on after 90days, id be a bit upset.

Once you're in the que you're fine... it doesn't matter if you have gone past the 90 days.

Also...its been barely a week. I haven't got mine yet either but It doesn't really bother me...it'll get processed when it does..no point worrying about it. For me my step-up was mainly to protect my investment in terms of resale value. Now that 700 series cards have plummeted in price..my card wouldn't be worth as much.

^^^ ditto. Plus, a little extra performance for the cost of shipping never hurt anyone.

I wonder if they'll let you change your step-up though. The reference card was the only one available when I did the step-up, then like two days later the ACX 2.0 was the only one available. I'd much rather get ACX 2.0 models than the reference blower design.

I was told you can simply drop out of the step-up then restart it, however, if you're past your 90 days while sitting in the que..I imagine that request would have to go to CS.  Personally I think having to drop out and then restart is pretty silly considering it seems like a fairly simple request to make..but who knows!

If you go past the 90 days in your step-up and attempt to restart the process it's done. I may of had a day left in my step-up or I was past the 90 days but I asked if I could change my step-up to the 980 seeing as the EVGA's 970 was using a pretty poor PCB design. I was told I could not change the card unless I restarted the step-up process myself, which I can't in my case because I would of been past the 90 day limit.

But hey, I'm just happy I had time left on my step-up when the 900 series came out and managed in it at all. From what I see the folding numbers on these cards are insane so I'm happy to say farewell to the 750ti and wait it out. I can't imagine this process being short given this launch and how these cards perform though.

I will either find a way, or make one.

I could drop out and re-que for the new 2.0 but it's really not that big of a deal whether it's 1.0 or 2.0. I was just wondering if there was a que in the beginning stages. Being patient isn't a really big issue as i said was kind of just wondering!

I asked about the pending queue and their answer is that they dont give queue numbers anymore, it will stay pending until its your turn. Pretty lame.

This is weird... the whole point of a queue is to provide a queue number so you can track your progress.  I wonder if they have such high demand they decided to not do it?

Because nobody Ive seen has a Q# and if they were just going by order of who requested first then giving out Q#s would be as simple as pressing a button and not take 2 weeks. :P

Pretty sure in another thread their rep confirmed they aren't doing numbers anymore due to the demand. I got into the step-up on friday probably right when the website came back online after the 980 showed up and I haven't got a number nor any confirmation for my step-up to be processed.

Demand shouldn't be an excuse to not do numbers anymore it should be a reason to do them. Its almost like their trying to hide they didn't set aside any for step-up like they claim they do. Patience is a virtue but I'm already losing 150 by stepping up to the 980 and still paying for shipping so the least evga could do was give more information then what is common sense that their in high demand.

Well i don't know if it was demand but in any case, you lost $150 by stepping up, nobody forced you to step up...so that's irrelevant.

In any case they're pretty good at following up and giving information..sometimes there is just nothing to give.

No you were right I read the post from them claiming demand was why they have no numbers which doesn't make sense, and there is information its not like they have no idea how many step-up orders they have. Nobody forced me to give up 150 dollars but I chose to send evga a card they can make more money on then what im getting back so they should use good service provider->customer courtesy and keep information flowing even if it doesn't make EVGA look amazing. Contrary to what many forum users think brown nosing companies doesn't get you special privileges, were paying them for a service and its usually not cheap so we should expect to be treated very well not kept in the dark. I love evga don't get me wrong I buy nothing but them if I can but im not going to stand by in the dark.

I'll assume you're directing the brown nose remark toward me. However, I've been very critical of EVGA and their response to many many many many inquiries about issues ranging from products to customer experience on this forum.  Plus I'm also a realist and understand that sucking up to a company on their official forums won't get you special treatment.  However from someone who's been in customer service/support for a company before that is a gaming company I can guarantee you tech support/cs often times has no knowledge or access to ETA's on ordering/shipments for their own stock.  If they don't have any information to give, they've told people numerous times. You cannot be upset/angry for information they don't have or for information that doesn't currently exist.

I am thinking that production issues are the bigger problem here.  While demand is indeed high, I am willing to be nVidia wanted these out there before ATi could make any moves.

All you f00ls in the que or waiting in to get in the que, at least you not trying to buy one.
You have a much better chance of getting one before someone trying to buy it from an E-tailer or a physical store.
This happons everytime a new card line come's out. So please Stop complaneing. Yes some of you are close to the cut off just wait I bet EVGA will step YOU up so long as you started the process before the cut off date. (I have seen this before) EVGA custmer service is why I buy only EVGA!
(BTW I have 3x 750Ti's in the wait for a step-up for the 980. So i'm in the same boat as you.)
