AnsweredRMA Unit arrived without the Serial sticker and now I am being told my warranty is void!!

Hi, I returned my 570 to get a refurbished 660 as replacement.  I thought EVGA was the greatest company on earth, until the 660 starts displaying red lines all over the screen (see attached pic) and I go to RMA again. the website tells me to Un-register the previous card with nearly 10yrs warranty & re-register the new card. here is when I notice the sticker is missing from the card, only the brown box it came in has the serial number, so I email supportEU and am told that my warranty is void.
 
I looked up an image of the same card to see where the sticker should be (see attached pic), and am shocked to see how loosely it is placed over the components, unlike the other stickers that are solidly placed on the flat plastic.  and this is the sticker that secures our warranty.
 
Seriously?
 
I keep a tidy ship and take serious care when handling components if it did fall off in my care, I would have found it.
 
Am I completely up the creek here?

Don't freak out. EVGA HQ guys will be on here shortly and work this out with you. As long as you have all your docs, at least one sticker, etc.... this will get stepped on and made rite in quick order. I REALLY wish EVGA would come up with a better sticker placement idea on the cards somehow. This issue comes up a lot and they are very good with dealing with it. At the very least one of the forum mods has probably seen this post and escalated it for you already. I will push this to the right guys for you too just in case and they'll get ya fixed up I'm sure.
