Ok i have found ordered and received the most rare item for my watercooling upgrade, the EK-FB EVGA Classified 4-SLI - Acetal+Nickel full motherboard waterblock, Now my question is, how should i do this, i will have two loop system should have cpu and gpu on one loop and MB block on the other, cpu and MB block on one and gpu on other, or gpu and MB block on one and cpu on the other? Mind you that x58 4way chipset runs at 70C with the stock heatsick no 80mm fan and 50ish C with stock heatsink with 80mm fan. Setup 2 quad rads, one tri rad and one dual rad all with push/pull.

    Thanks.

In my own 2-loop system with the X58 Classified (not the 4-way), I run the CPU and chipset on the same loop, and run the GPU's on a separate loop.  If you have to take the GPU's off the loop for some reason, it's much easier to just shut down that loop, and run off the CPU/chipset one.  Although the chipset can dump a fair amount of heat into the loop with the CPU, if you have your loop hit the CPU first, then you won't really have to worry about the extra heat from the chipset, unless your radiator is overwhelmed.

Thanks for the info, that really make sense. I think I would be ok with heat, I know the order really don't mean much but this is the order I have in mind, res -> pump -> 4way rad -> CPU -> 2way rad -> chipset -> res. I figured I would use the 3way rad and 4way rad for the 2 GPU's. What you think? Here is all the rads I will have two 4ways, one 3way and one 2way.

I think you have more radiators than you really need in there, but that's not really a bad thing.  If you're going to be doing a lot of overclocking, then you do want to err on the side of having more cooling on the CPU side, rather than the GPU side, so I think you might use the 3-way, rather than the 2-way.  Running my 580's off a single 3x120 rad, I don't have any issues with temps, even when overclocked.

Of course, we're using different rads, but I would still err on the side of providing more cooling to the CPU, as that will limit your overclocking a bit faster than your GPU temps will with your proposed setup.

Moving thread over to the Overclocking, Cooling, Benchmarking section at this point, as you'll find a bit more cooling/configuration help in that section.

Agreed with Nordic, might be a bit overkill, but in the end if you have more cooling than needed.... good!  I have a ton of cooling compared to my components too, but, in the end  that gives me higher OC threshholds as well as day by day, lower temps, and I can run my fans lower speed to drop noise and maintain the same cooling.

Your right, right now i have my i7 OC'd to 4.2Ghz and I don't know if want to push it anymore, also this MB has two CPU power pins to send 600 watts to the CPU, should I use the extra pin even if I am only at 4.2Ghz?. The only thing I am doing with my GPU's is upping the volts to 1100 when I am gaming to make them stable, to be honest I am a bit nervous to OC my GPU's don't want to fry them.

Yeah I know its overkill, but when someone gets a 900D you would except a overkill rig right? The only thing I may run into is getting the 3way rad in push/pull, i have to figure out how and where to move the HDD bays and then i should be able to push/pull the rad. The 3way rad will be going in place of the 3 fans in the front.

Yes, I agree, and I fully understand the desire for overkill based on a case, I am running an Extended Ascension, so yeah, I'm right there with ya.  As for help with where to put the HDD's, I could offer my 2 cents worth of advice, but I would need to see pics, as I am familiar with the case but I have not built in one to know all the ins and outs.

This is the best i can do right now, pics i already have.. case is in the box if you need more detailed pics let me know. The two bottom HDD trays will be coming out, its the one above right side of the can im wanting to move out the way. Just need enough space for 120mm fans.

How many and what type of hard drives are you using, and also, are you using an optical drive(s) for this?  If this is simply a 1 or 2 SSD build it might be easier to forgo the the drive cages altogether and just mounting the SSD's directly to any number of places in that case.

3 and they not SSD's and using 1 optical. It's going to be a tight fit at the top lol.
