From the Corsair facebook site 3 minutes ago:

"We hear You.

As many of you know we launched our new Corsair Gaming line of peripherals this week. We’ve received a ton of feedback on the products and new logo. We are amazed and humbled by the passion our customers have for the original Corsair sails logo. The ship + sails are here to stay and will continue to be used on all Corsair PC component products.

However, we know many of you prefer the classic logo on our keyboards, and you’ve made your voices heard. For those of you looking for the new K70 RGB with the original sails logo, it’s currently available in North America from Newegg – just look for the SKU CH-9000063-NA. What’s more, as a direct result of your feedback, we will continue to sell and manufacture the Vengeance K70 and Vengeance K70 RGB with Cherry MX Red switches, with the sails logo, via select retailers and Corsair.com.

Let’s keep talking!"

They posted that on Corsair forums over 12hrs ago.  http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2223210

Who cares if they change the logo. It does not effect me any way even though I have 3 or is it 4 corsair products. They just better not reduce the quality of their fine products such as cases and keyboards/mice.

No ones stopping you from buying the tramp stamp if you like it. If Corsair will not give customers a choice. Th next thing that will happen is customers will start boycotting Corsair products. It would be very easy for people to choose a different brand.

If Corsair wants to sell over priced peripherals. they will need to listen to customers or the customer will buy a different brand. Yes peripherals are way over priced. That is why we see just about every hardware mfg making them. A $5-8 mouse selling for $70 who wouldn't want a piece of that pie.

Yes it is their company, but a company is simply a item that sells their services/products to the consumer. If the consumer states "change this or risk losing sales" the company will either change to maintain sales or not and lose sales.

In this case there was such an outcry thay Corsair decided to change. This isnt the first time in history this has happened, New Coca-Cola anyone?

Corsair sells their cosmetics appeal. You can buy the same RAM, a similiar fuctioning keyboard etc etc. The difference is cosmetic the ram heatsink, rgb lighted keyboard and such. The logo is very much a big cosmetic display. So it is the customers right to petition a change.

Last week we pointed out the availability of a Vengeance K70 and Vengeance K70 RGB keyboards with red switches for fans of our Corsair “sails” logo. We have since rolled up our sleeves to see just how many additional “sails” logo versions we can add to our line. The answer is 11 configurations which were based on requests we’ve received. We also added a matching M65 RGB mouse.

• Vengeance K70 RGB - Cherry MX red – US, UK, Nordic (US now, UK/Nordic available late November)
• Vengeance K70 RGB - Cherry MX brown – US, UK (available late November)
• Vengeance K95 RGB - Cherry MX red – US, UK (available late November)
• Vengeance K70 - Cherry MX red – US, UK (available mid October)
• Vengeance K70 - Cherry MX brown – US, UK (available mid October)
• M65 RGB – black (late November)

Both Corsair Gaming and Vengeance branded products are made to the same level of precision and are awesome. We promise.

Come November customers will have a choice on which logo they want on RGB keyboards and M65 RGB mouse.
Vengeance = old sail logo
Corsair Gaming = new gaming logo

We would be hard pressed to find another company that would do the same thing Corsair is doing to  make customers happy.

I agree MSim.  This is a company that goes above and beyond.  I have seen this philosophy in the reps that they employ as well.

Corsair 650D   -  i5 3570K @ 4.6GHz  -  Corsair H80i  -  MSI Z77 M-Power  -  16GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator Platinum
WD 1TB Caviar Black x2  -  OCZ 120GB Vertex2 SSD  -  Corsair HX620  -  GTX285 SSC  -  Samsung T240  -  DIR-655
