Can anyone confirm that the distance between the EK waterblocks on PCIE single slot spacing that is 40.6mm ???

I believe its roughly 26mm

Tough info to find.

If you go to EKWB.com and look thru all single spacing Terminal and older style SLi Blocks.....there is a pdf schematic I believe showing the distances in mm between each Card.......I think ;) ....even if youre not going to use the Terminal Block you maybe able to get the info that way.....

Since no one answered

It is 24mm between to EK gpu waterblocks.

Both of my primochill revolver hardline fittings worked perfect

Derick, is there a plexi conversion kit (currently have three acetal) that I could purchase for my 780 classy blocks and Supremacy CPU block? I have glanced but not really taken the time to search for them. *edit* I am looking all over for the plexi tops... I am seeing the cpu top is a showing as EOL now. No luck finding the tops for the gpu blocks.

The warranty is of no worry for me, as I will assume that risk myself.

Re: EK WaterBlocks Discussion, Help & Question Thread 2014/09/13 14:26:35 (permalink)
Got in touch with Support, and ordered the plexi tops.  As I requested from Support, and never heard back on this topic, that EK would benefit from looking to make Multicard Plexi Terminals, Especially a Parallel terminal that has a port on the bottom as well as the side.

Also, I mentioned to Peter when I spoke with him, that the Clear Ek Koolant, turns yellow when left out in a room or used in a system.  I had never seen this before, and noticed that the coolant was yellow when I replaced it the first time I changed my system.  Now, I have 3 bottles, 2 of which I have had just over a month and one brand new that just came in, and I realized that 2 of the bottles are very obviously yellow.  I am not complaining about this, as when I ordered the Plexi tops, I mentioned this to Peter, and he said new ones would be sent out to replace them.  I am just trying to post a warning for others, that the clear coolant may look off over time.  Just in case anyone is curious, yes, I poured it into a clear cup, and it maintains its yellow color, No it is not the bottle changing colors.

No worries Derick. I got really mad at Ek the very first time. I purchased a block because my 4770k was running really hot, and Peter helped me get it cooled down by suggesting a delid or RMA of the chip, and since that moment, I have been thoroughly impressed with all of the help you guys provide. I did forget to request the pricing for a plexi cpu block, so I am going to find one to order so I can get everything showing some color. :-)

No lie, I clicked it and immediately thought... that is the Evo, not the standard Supremacy... then I read the first line, "To upgrade the supremacy block over to the Evo..."  :-D  That is FANTASTIC that EK did that!  I have to say, Very well done.

Now, can you tell them to work on the Parallel Terminals in Plexi :-D...  That will be the only thing that I will need to transition here soon. I will keep the Nateman blocks Black, because it is his signature.

You made my day!!!!!!  I will gladly pay to test one of the first ones ;-) Basically, I want to call Dibs on a triple Plexi Terminal right Meow.  the ONLY thing I request, is a port on the very bottom so that I can use my Probe it Cable in all three GPUs at once, and make sure they aren't going to overvolt too high.

For those on the Haswell-E platform:
We have updated our EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy EVO installation manual. Please use Insert 2 (I2) with Jet J1 (0.25mm) for best results on Intel LGA-2011-V3 series Core i7 58xx/59xx CPUs. We never stop - we are fine tuning the performance even further.

The Terminals?  I am seriously going to hawkeye the sites to purchase one as soon as they hit.  I need to replace a 90 degree fitting at the same time, because I have a leaker, lol.  Thank you Derick.

Great find.  I like the Waterblock porn on each page. I don't need a shirt, as they won't ship it to me, but I definitely filled in the survey.

Re: EK WaterBlocks Discussion, Help & Question Thread 2014/10/04 00:21:43 (permalink)
I emailed EK and Peter responded. I was looking for the Classy Plexi tops, as my initial plan was to go as dark as possible with my first build. Now, I want color. So, to add color, I need to add see thru parts..

I sent Ek some money and a note that said, "to hell with the warranty, I want plexi" and I got a box in today... :-)

When the x99 Classified board gets here, I will switch out the Supremacy block for the Supremacy Evo (upgrade kit) and the Acetal classy tops for the Plexi tops. Now, Ek should have made Plexi vrm and chipset blocks for the classy, and my whole board would have been perfection, but I will gladly use some Nateman_doo blocks in their place.

I am also trading the Triple Parallel Terminal in for Plexi single terminals and rigid tubing, so that all of the color pop a little better.  I really wish that EK would work on dual/triple/quad Plexi Terminals as well, as they would be much more cost effective at $30usd compared to $70+usd worth of parts for the same effect.

Any Chance of there being a parts list for EOL blocks like the EK EVGA X58 Classified Full board blocks?  I have three of these blocks that are missing hardware and need new TIM pads and was wondering if there were parts kits available or at the very least a listing of all the hardware specs to get them refitted again.

Check out their cooling configurator (http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/) for info on specific blocks. If there's no info, as with the x99 Classified, then there are usually no plans for the blocks.

 I have a question.
I have 2 FC980 GTX  sexy looking blocks btw :)

Anyway how should I set the blocks up for watercooling series or parallel
1st time water cooling here and went all out on it.

is there only 1 way to hook them up?
a diagram on hooking them up would be great also

another question, when I put those little pads on, am I to put some thermal compound on the pads also?

Im going to use noctura n1 compound so let me know on that
Thanks EK and btw love that evo full nickel cpu block also

Think about the loop. The GPU loop usually works best with input away from the CPU and exit close the CPU. If on it own loop than does not matter. If you do one loop for everything flow will allow for good temps, but the CPU should be before GPU. If you are using a bridge, I like serial not parallel, but this is personal. A strong water flow can keep tempos in line, but I would never but a CPU after the GPUs, my personal preference.

Thanks, I went and mounted blocks after some reading and I decided to go parallel , I can go either way right now, so I will look here for response .
Im running duel loop so im fine.
Im going from pump to gpu down to rad and back.

Question,
am I good with parallel or series?   1/2 x 3/4 tubing is what I am using so flow is going to be fast in parallel from what im reading

Ordered and installed these a few weeks ago. They look awesome. My only issue is that they don't come with the silver screws that are pictured. I have 3 780 classy blocks that come with the black screws. Is there a way to order the correct screws for these terminals in silver. I can live with the black, but I would just prefer the silver.

Dizzmal, I didn't even consider the screws.... Good catch. I can probably grab a few down town (small hobby shop) and send you some as well. They usually come in a 10 pack, and if I can find them, it will be less than $10 shipped.

Anything from the EK rep on these screws? I am having a hard time finding even the normal screws with these dimensions.
