Giving the Pioneer BDR-209DBK a serious look as my Blue Ray upgrade,but I have no interest in 3D.I cringe at the thought of being forced to shell out $100.00 for Cyberlink software...just to watch a movie....a little less and get software with so so reviews.Thoughts on the PIO I am looking at?

    I have the BDR-208DBK, and it is a great drive.  Pioneer really makes solid products.  The difference between 208 and 209 is 208 burns at 15X vs 16 of the newer model.  If you have Nero 2014 Ultimate, you can also view movies in HD.  OR...you could buy the BDR-2209, which comes with the Cyberlink Media Suite 10, made for drive manufacturers.  On Newegg or Amazon, about $20 more.
