Yeah Titanfall was fun for a bit.. But it quickly lost it luster. Sad.
To be honest, there have been so few memorable game this year, I am having trouble coming up with suggestions.

Yeah, pretty bland year honestly. I've been waiting for something good... anything good. I don't think I have honestly picked anything decent up beside indie games this year.

The only PC game that I have bought this year is Wolfenstein. I have obtained some great games for my 3DS this year though.

Lol sorry I meant in the gaming forums in general, not this thread, seemed more people were interested in good game suggestions above so I just threw that in there. I've only bought 2-3 games so far this year, and the one that was most dissapointing was Watch Dogs. boredgunner

Wasteland 2 seems to be in the same vein gameplay wise as Divinity, so I'm looking forward to it being finished. Dragon Age looks promising, but I'm gonna wait for some reviews/user reviews before picking it up. The Wolf Among Us looked interesting to me but some of the reviews seemed inconsistent, I'll probably pick it up next Steam sale. I've played through Divinity twice already though, def. a great game that more people should try.

worst games of 2014? thats easy, just look at steam greenlight, like 80 - 90% of them are garbage.

I believe this is the year of the indie games... I haven't really been impressed with AAA titles this year, but indie games have been pretty solid. Someone mentioned Steam Greenlight... Yeah, Greenlight has ranged from a total ripoff to some decent games.

Dayz has been huge fail so far...Useless updates(new hat-models yeaah!).Arma 3's breaking point is much more fun to play.

IMHO, it might of been released in 2013, but it was still in beta state till 2014. So I consider it a 2014 title.

IMHO, it might of been released in 2013, but it was still in beta state till 2014. So I consider it a 2014 title.
It still feels like a beta to this day. Honestly, it pretty much is everything that EA has touch in the last few years that is garbage.

1) Dragon Age isn't turned into an MMO. EA pretty much requires their single player games to have a multiplayer component now, like Mass Effect 3. I think they said DA:I's won't affect the single player, but even if it did it would be minimal (ME3's MP only affected Galactic Readiness). 2) The Elder Scrolls: Online was NOT developed by the people who made Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Fallout 4 will not be made by the ESO people either. ESO was made by ZeniMax Online Studios, while the core TES games and Fallout 3 (and Fallout 4 if indeed it's in development) are made by Bethesda Game Studios. I hate how ESO damages the reputation of Bethesda Game Studios all because of a misunderstanding. They have the same publisher, not developer. ESO was ruined from the start, nobody intervened and ruined it.

Multiplayer in general is not a problem. I am one of the ones THRILLED that GalCiv3 will have multi. I am NOT looking for an MMO, nor huge scale multiplayer, however, RPG's and TBS's I think can really benefit from multiplayer. I have played TBS's with a friend for close to 20 years now, ever since they were on a hot seat, we team up, we work together, we cover each others backs, and we have done this in some RPG's as well. Heck I used to enjoy beating the campaigns from FPS's co-op. I understand about how multi can really ruin a game, last thing we want is more 12 year-olds quickscoping or trying run and gun tactics in an RPG, but I think when done well, multi can really add some more fun to a game. Also, it sounds like I do need to try out Original Sin.

DayZ SA has had some pretty significant updates this summer. Just because there's not working vehicles, doesn't mean content isn't being updated. It's definitely made the move from a FPS shooter with zombies to a survival game with insanely deadly zombies sprinkled with some pvp. Everyone's too busy running from the new zombies to shoot each other, or freezing to death in the rain while camping the Berezino police Station. There's been like 4 completely new cities added, too, and some of the placeholder art building have been updated with new models and tex packs. Complete overhaul of some of the core survival mechanics, persistent servers, dynamic event spawns, and all kinds of rad stuff concerning weapons. There's placeholders for dynamic, mobile vehicles in the code, too - Physics just need an update before they're implemented. Yeah, I spend a ton of time on DayZ SA, but I'm not a fanboy - I just really enjoy watching the game evolve from the shell it was in Dec 2013.
